Now, I read an interesting story yesterday, about the Master Sergeant who was the executioner at Nuremberg.
He very clumsily did his job, either due to incompetence and malice, and some of the executions were not clean. He felt the need to carry two guns with him while stationed in Germany because he was always afraid a German was going to kill him in revenge. One time, he thought a German cook poisoned him in the mess haull.


After the war, he was stationed on a Pacific Atoll doing bomb tests with German Scientists we saved under Operation Paper Clip. He was mysteriously electrocuted in an "accident".
