I'm 82 years old. I studied high school civics in 1951. I was against the electoral college then. It's one of the most antiquated things our government does. It is to the 21st century a hangover of idiocy. The forebears weren't perfect. They owned slaves and the only guns they were familiar with were single shot cannons and muskets. Thomas Jefferson believed the constitution should be updated to match the times every twenty years. We've amended it dozens of times but some of it is a crock of shit. The electoral college falls into that category. When more people believe Hillary should be the president by god she should be the president.

I believe our federal government should get rid of all social programs because it's not in the constitution. Social programs should be state run and not federal. If a state doesn't want any particular social program, they shouldn't have them.

I believe that every person that is physically and mentally capable of working should be, and no social program should be offered to them.

I believe if you are on any social program, you don't get one dime until you are fixed first. No more having kids while on the dole.

I believe we need to speed up the process for the death penalty. After conviction, you are executed in less than six months and it's on television for everybody to watch. All appeals exhausted in six months.

The problem is, I don't call the shots for everybody in this country and neither do you. And if you think democracy is such a great thing, then why not use it for every decision we make as a county? Get rid of Congress and the Senate as well as the electoral college. We'll just use popular vote for everything including hate crime laws, affirmative action, gays in the military, recognition of transgender weirdos, English only country. I believe our federal government should get rid of all social programs because it's not in the constitution. Social programs should be state run and not federal. If a state doesn't want any particular social program, they shouldn't have them.

I believe that every person that is physically and mentally capable of working should be, and no social program should be offered to them.

I know you Republican's favor disenfranchising voters but you argument in favor of disenfranchising 2.5 million right now is absurd and antiquated.

We don't get direct democracy with one person one vote for our president. We still get a democratic republic that elects representatives to make decisions for us. What are you afraid of with your phony argument.

Is the civil rights act of 1964 a violation of states rights and property rights as well?

We know what your no welfare or safety net for the poor truly means.

Trump says he wants to unite the races and be president of all the people. That includes the poor and those who couldn't find jobs or good paying jobs during the great Bush recession and its cleanup period the past eight years.

You can only be thrilled if you believe Trump doesn't mean what he says about unity.

Perhaps you will get your wish. Trump will punish the large cities for having so many poor people. A great number of them disadvantaged minorities and immigrants.

But the Republican Party will be over in the long run if it doesn't serve all Americans under Trump specifically the middle and lower class.

Trump needs to create a lot of high paying jobs within two years. He has not done a thing or suggested a way to make that happen with a yet defiant to progress Republican majority in Congress.

The question is will Trump support you or forge a coalition with moderate Republicans and Democrats to do things that Democrats have wanted done the past two decades.

Our biggest issues are the Supreme Court and the immigration problem which yes, is related to jobs in this country. As long as we have these foreigners coming here and undercutting American wages, wages will remain low as they are today.

My point about pure Democracy is that it doesn't work. It doesn't work in our government structure and it doesn't work if we the people were to vote on each law and issue that comes up because the minority would have no say in our government. Majority rule.

We have two Senators for each state so that smaller states can have equal protection from larger and more populated states. That's also why we elect Presidents using the electoral college process. We can't have a few states and a few counties deciding on who the President is going to be for the entire country.
