If we wanted to change the electoral college we should have started 16 years ago. Understanding why we voted as we did, won't change the fact that none of us will get what we want until we join forces, as long as money rules we lose.
We can't keep changing the system every damn time a Democrat loses the presidency.
One thing we can be sure of.......tax cuts for the wealthy. Reagan slashed them to 50 year lows and quadrupled the national debt. Bill Clinton handed George W. Bush a surplus and the first thing he did was cut rates for the rich twice then doubled the national debt from $5.7 to $12 trillion. In reality that's borrowing money from foreign banks and putting it directly into the pockets of the rich.
