I'm not finding anything that says Michiganders (?) can't buy American Flags...

That's pretty meaningless.

They can't sell seeds so they're told to tape off the garden center.

Flags are commonly kept in the garden center as they're flown outside.

What I think is far more likely is that someone was too lazy to move a pallet of flags and, instead, taped around it.

Let someone be denied the sale of a flag. That's be an absolute shit storm, and the ending of the political career of anyone who'd support it...

Why would anyone buy a flag during a pandemic? That's the last thing I'd think of buying during a time like this.

I often ask "Why would anyone buy light beer?"

But then I remember that, just because I wouldn't want to buy it doesn't mean someone else wouldn't want to, and they sure as fuck don't have to justify it...
