And the Ruling Is.....

Then why are they begging for free abortions from the government? Isn't that not asking the government to "take care of their own actions"?

Hey, I'd be all for if the government gave out free abortions.

It doesn't do that, of course. Thanks to the stupidity that is the Hyde Amendment. (Seriously, I met Henry Hyde once. It was disappointing.)

Now, realizing that the "Talking Snake" wing of the GOP was doing the science on this one, no one was telling Hobby Lobby they had to pay for Abortions. (Unlike their partners in China, who MANDATE abortions if you've already had a kid.) They had to pay for sorts of birth control that were kind of icky in the lady parts.

How about this.

Everyone gets coverage. You and your doctor get to decide what the best course of treatment is. And if you don't like what your doctor is saying, you get a new one.

Not a church or an employer or a judge or a congressman.

That sounds. Kind of reasonable.

Oops. Looks like all the liberal arguments have been destroyed. Case closed.

You, you can go back to trying to get that high score on Level 43.

What is this level 43 you speak of, my emo friend? I beat Level 43 long ago.

In all seriousness, you don't have anything left to hurl at me. Just your typical, standard "I have no argument" rhetoric.

Government should not pay for abortions as we should not either through obamashitforbrainscare. SCOTUS ruled correctly on this.

Well then, aren't they then not letting women make their own choices? So why? You obviously think it does, but your argument is a giant conundrum. You want the woman to have a choice, but her reliance on the government in reality constitutes a forfeiture of that choice. She would be essentially saying "the government knows more about my vagina than I do." How utterly preposterous.

This is a paradox of your own making.

No, I'm just kind of gently mocking you.

YOu see, I'm kind of sad for you. Obviously, instead of having the real adversity to build character, you've just got a bunch of enablers around you that think that letting you play video games and post nonsense on the internet all day is a substitute for taking responsibility for your own life.

For the record, when I was your age, I owned my own rental property, was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army, and got a college degree despite having BOTH parents succumb to cancer while I was attending.

But you've beaten Level 43. I think I'm supposed to be impressed.

5-4 against Hobby Lobby with Roberts the deciding vote

How do corporations have religion? Corporations are formed to create legal protection for the owner. Now, how does a corporation have the religion of the owner?

The question may become, if a person is forced to pay for abortion and birth control. Which could have far reaching implication if the SCOTUS rules no. What about those who buy into Obamacare? But let's say they rule just on if a company has to supply birth control to its employees. What if there was a small company run by Muslims. Say an owner and two employees, would the owner be required to supply BC and Abortion against their strongly held religious beliefs? That, simply, is what the SCOTUS is going to decide.

You are either a corporation or you are not

If you want to run your business as a family business, then do so

But if you choose to incorporate to provide your family legal protections from the decisions that you make then you can't claim that the corporation has the ethical and religious values of the family

You can't hide behind a corporation when it hurts you and claim individual rights when it helps you

Whiny silliness. It is not just the right of a closely held company's management to determine the firm's image, it is their responsibility.

Like he would know better then the SCOTUS.

No, not really.

Not giving the woman a choice would be doing what China does. If you've already had your one allotted child, you get an abortion or you pay a $20,000 fine. (Which is more than even China's new affluent middle class can afford.) Ironically, as horrible as this is, Hobby Lobby just can't wait to buy cheap shit from China.

Giving the woman a choice means-

We pay for your contraception if you don't want to get pregnant.

We pay for your abortion if you get pregnant and didn't mean to.

We pay for your pre-natal care if you want to keep the child, whether it was intended or not.

Incidentally, this is EXACTLY what the Europeans do, it is what the Japanese do. And they have lower abortion rates than we do.

Which is why they will decide against Hobby Lobby.
So, how'd that work our for you, Iosef?

I guess I was expecting too much out of Justice Kennedy.

But not to worry. 5 Old Men just decided that a woman's employer can tell her what to do with her Vagina.

Not quite "Gift From God Rape", but it'll do the trick.

Despite the SCOTUS ruling and your Chicken Little whining, women are still free to do what they will with their vaginas. Should pregnancy occur while doing what they will, they can have the baby or abort. They can keep or give up the child. They can sue the father for support or ask him to help pay for any other decision she may make. She just can't require the rest of us - those of us who have nothing to do with her decisions or her vagina - to pay for it.

You know, you sure think women are stupid, don't you? You and your bullshit "war on women". It's getting old - but I guess when all you have is your Thug-In-Chief, you have to stir the shit pot somewhere else, don't you......

Women are more than capable of taking responsibility for their own damned actions. No one is stopping them. My Damned insurance doesn't cover Viagra - let alone an "abortion in a bottle".

Wake up. Your tactics aren't working any longer. If Hillary (the murderer) Clinton is your best hope - you've already lost.

Here's the problem with that. You not being able to get you thing hard for one night isn't going to fuck up your life permanently.

Not being able to avoid pregnancy when you are working a minimum wage job for a bunch of religious assholes.

Yes, women are capable of taking care of their own actions. Which means they are capable of picking the correct form of birth control after consulting with a trained medical specialist.

Not an Employer
Not a Church
Not a Congressman
Not a judge.

I think most women are smart enough to realize what is what.
Condoms are cheap. And women are smart enough to pick them out on their own.

Besides, anyone who sleeps around without a barrier method of birth control is too stupid for words. I don't feel obligated to pay for anyone's birth control, and I DAMN sure don't feel obligated to pay for anyone's STD treatments.

I've still got the same doctors I had before ObamaCare, dude. so do most people.

I know when you sit on Granny's couch not having a useful job, you listen to Hate Radio and they tell you this shit, but the fact is, most people are still going to the same doctors they always have.

Obama: 'Many folks' will lose their doctors under Obamacare | The Daily Caller
President Obama now says that his health law will lead the “average person” to switch doctors.

“For the average person,” Obama conceded in an interview with WebMD, “many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. And they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money.”

Elderly patients sick over losing doctors under ObamaCare | New York Post
ObamaCare is making seniors sick.
Elderly New Yorkers are in a panic after getting notices that insurance companies are booting their doctors from the Medicare Advantage program as a result of the shifting medical landscape under ObamaCare.
That leaves patients with unenviable choices: keep the same insurance plan and find another doctor, pay out of pocket or look for another plan where their physician is a member.
New York State Medical Society President Sam Unterricht is demanding a congressional probe after learning that one health carrier alone, UnitedHealthcare, is terminating contracts with up to 2,100 doctors serving 8,000 Medicare Advantage patients in the New York metro region.
The are 2.6 million elderly New Yorkers who receive Medicare, the public heath-insurance program for the elderly.
But one in three patients — nearly 900,000 — are enrolled in Advantage, Medicare HMOs run by private insurers.

Consumers losing doctors with Obamacare plans | 2014-05-14 | Indianapolis Business Journal | IBJ.com
James Potts' $647-per-month silver plan was issued by the same company that had insured him with a different plan cancelled under the Affordable Care Act. The 64-year-old property insurance agent assumed his doctors would remain the same under the insurer's new plan, but didn't double check.

When Potts got a nasty cold, he called three facilities near his home in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was shocked to find none took the insurance, including his primary care doctor.

"It was a waste of money for me," he said. "I couldn't find doctors that would talk to me."

If you like your doctor, you're fucked.

So, women have a choice...but taxpayers don't. Your idea of "choice" is pretty fucked up.

You're awfully generous with other people's money. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, don't it?
