So, on top of the value of electing judges, which is huge, especially if Trump gets another S.C nomination, they also have much longer terms.

Three major points

With the Kavanaugh Fiasco the Ds handed Trump a nearly 10% increase in his senate majority.

At this hour the house has been called for the Ds but the Ds have to defeat another 10 R house incumbents, which they have not done. at a 95% degree of certainty for each of the 10 seats there is still a 40% probability that the Rs will retain the house. Given the age of the average D in the house there will be many by-elections before 2020 so retention in the house is difficult.

If this is true, why is the House being called by every news network, even Pelosi giving a speech?

This projection bs makes one weary...

The problem with projections is that either the failed models of 2016 will be used or the model is being used for the first time ever as with the Fox News coverage. Another hidden flaw is that the Blue Wall has extremely fragile finances that will see greater strain with gridlock. The House Ds plan to investigate rather than legislate which will lead to an open revolt by the newer D house members.
