America then, and now.

Your link said nothing of the sort. The word, "rally," doesn't even appear in that article.
Watch this....
Copy and paste the text from that article which you think states Pelosi's office told Irving not to bring the National Guard in for Trump's rally....
"Pelosi’s office had previously impressed upon Irving that the National Guard was to remain off Capitol Grounds, Irving allegedly told House Admin. The discussions, which centered around “optics,” allegedly occurred in the months prior to the Jan. 6 riot, during a time when deployment of federal resources for civil unrest was unpopular with Democrats and many members of Congress.
The three sources who confirmed the discussion to the Daily Caller did so under the condition of anonymity, citing the fear of putting a chill on further witnesses to how the security situation unfolded Jan. 6. The discussion, if accurate, raises questions as to what role Pelosi’s office had in the security failures that resulted in the resignations of both Irving and former Chief of Capitol Police Steven Sund. Pelosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill did not deny the allegations in a statement to the Daily Caller."

Pelosi is blocking her records, so its a "he said" "she said" Nancy was Irvings supervisor.

I see ... so you're a liar AND an idiot. :eusa_doh:

Your own link says that had nothing to do with January 6th...

That happened in June, 7 months before Sedition Day. Also from your link, your own sources show whatever Pelosi said, she said in direct relation to a specific incident sparked by Trump, having absolutely nothing to do with Sedition Day, which wasn't even a thought in June, 2020. Emphasis mine...

"Violence has no place and violence must be addressed," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told NPR's All Things Considered. "But there is no reason for the U.S. military to be called out for this."

Pelosi was referring to a threat Trump made Monday evening in the Rose Garden at the White House.

And Trump never make a request for 10K NG. He recommended it in a private that didn't include anyone from Pelosi’s office or the Capitol Police Board. And he did that the night before Sedition Day.

The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. “We’re like, ‘We’re going to provide any National Guard support that the District requests,’” Miller responded. “And [Trump] goes, ‘You’re going to need 10,000 people.’ No, I’m not talking bullshit. He said that. And we’re like, ‘Maybe. But you know, someone’s going to have to ask for it.’” At that point Miller remembered the president telling him, “‘You do what you need to do. You do what you need to do.’ He said, ‘You’re going to need 10,000.’ That’s what he said. Swear to God.”

Yet again, your own links don't support the bullshit you're spewing.

That's a lot of tap-dancing around a very simple point:
Trump requested 10,000 national guardsmen for the January 6th rally, and they were denied.
You can't prove who made the ultimate call not to send the NG anymore than I can prove who made the ultimate call.
However, we do know that the Speaker, aka Nancy Pelosi, was ultimately responsible for security of the Capitol.
Epic fail.

Sadly, you appear to be pathological. No, Pelosi was not responsible for Capitol Security. Again, the Capitol Police Board is.

And no, Trump never made any such request. In a private meeting the night before Sedition Day, Trump said to his acting Secretary of Defense that 10K National Guard would be needed.

1. The Capitol Police Board reports to Nancy Pelosi, so she is ultimately responsible for security.
"Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund also resigned, but the Sergeants at Arms, who are responsible for the security of the Capitol and protection of members of Congress, ultimately report to both Pelosi and McConnell.
Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Richard L. Shiffrin wrote in a memorandum back on April 10, 1995 about deputizing the sergeant as a special Deputy U.S. Marshall, that the House Sergeant at Arms is responsible for “maintaining order in the House under the direction of the Speaker.”
Is Speaker Pelosi ultimately responsible for the breakdown in security since the people responsible for security report to her?

2. No one questioned that Trump requested NG troops to keep the peace on J6.
According to Miller's testimony, Trump asked during that meeting whether the District of Columbia's mayor had requested National Guard troops for Jan. 6, the day Congress was to ratify Joe Biden's presidential election victory.
Trump told Miller to "fill" the request, the former defense secretary testified. Miller said Trump told him: "Do whatever is necessary to protect demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights."

No it doesn't and nothing in your link says it does. "Capitol Police Board" is not even mentioned in your link.

No one questioned that Trump requested NG troops to keep the peace on J6.

Also not true. No one questions that Trump recommended having 10K NG while he was in a meeting with his acting Secretary of Defense. Whether or not that request was formally made is questioned. And again, your own link fails to corroborate your claims. You claim there was no question Trump requested 10K NG but your article merely states Trump "wanted" 10K NG.

And Trump didn't want the NG there to protect Congress or the Capitol... he wanted the NG there to protect his violent mob of domestic terrorists.

Ok, like I said, no one is taking responsibility for the decision not to have the NG present for the J6 rally.

It's not about shirking responsibility. It's about who was responsible. And that was not Pelosi. And despite all the links you've posted, you have shown otherwise.
