I grew up in one of the most liberal States in the country, Massachusetts yet if you look at the history of Governors for that State you'll see a pattern. Massachusetts elects Republicans as Governor to fix things after Democrats FUBAR them! It's no different for the nation as a whole. Whenever the left is given power they do so many stupid things that the electorate immediately reacts by taking away that power!
