You need competition...........as long as everyone is making a profit what does it matter...........maximize the profit is what is going on now........and why denying leases lowers production.

No one is denying leases. Oil companies take options on leases for years. US oil companies are not investing in more capacity. They're returning profits to shareholders. I don't know why... Maybe they are tired of boom and bust. They expand production and it comes back to bite them.

Your gas prices are controlled by the price of oil based on the international markets, not by fracking. We buy Russian oil and Biden needs to remove sanctions on oil producing countries to change this.

Yemen has been a disaster since 1960. Very dangerous place. Libya had a grandiose, uneducated, paranoid jackass for a leader and the tribes hated him for 40 years. No way the US could have an occupation force big enough to keep Gaddafi in power. There's never been a US consulate in Benghazi. Congress voted to not pay for embassy security anywhere except Kabul and Baghdad. Have you been to any of those countries?
