No shit. Just like his former chief of staff, Secretary of State and two national security advisors all said.

But that's not going to sway the True Believers because cults gonna cult.

Former Attorney General William Barr writes in a new book that former President Donald Trump has “shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers to provide the kind of positive leadership that is needed,” and that it is time for Republicans to focus on rising new leaders in the party.
The release of the former attorney general’s 600-page book, “One Damn Thing After Another,” is coming as Mr. Trump, who remains the GOP’s dominant figure, contemplates another presidential run. Mr. Barr writes that he was convinced that Mr. Trump could have won re-election in 2020 if he had “just exercised a modicum of self-restraint, moderating even a little of his pettiness.”
“The election was not ‘stolen,’” Mr. Barr writes. “Trump lost it.” Mr. Barr urges conservatives to look to “an impressive array of younger candidates” who share Mr. Trump’s agenda but not his “erratic personal behavior.” He didn’t mention any of those candidates by name.

I suppose the Republicans could nominate Romney or Cheney or Kinzinger in 2024.

But IMHO, it would seem pretty pointless, as any of those candidates- or any other nevertrumper around- would get thoroughly schlonged in the general election.

The GOP might as well mail it in if that's their plan.

I was wondering why everything was great until the 15 Democrats MDs in Congress decided not to warn us about COVID.

Again, Barr like so many before him, misses the point. Since policies have been SO bad in the West for 30 years, temperament, mean words and the like mean little.

People are angry about their industries and jobs shipped overseas. Or poor border policy, energy issues and poisons being shipped into their country, impacting so many. It became worse during Covid where the iron fist on them and their families lives came down even harder.

So, no one cares about temperament, they want good policies. Without good policies, even unpopular personalities will become popular politicians.

After Biden won, what did the Dems do to show the population that they really care? They punished them even more. Is that abusing power or encouraging citizens and patriotism?

Yep. Trump could have won reelection if he'd shut his mouth. He's at it again. Desperate to be the center of attention every day.

Or maybe the political opponents of Trump could actually provide policies that make sense for citizens in 2022. They are operating as if America is the sole Super Power that once was, ironically for which their policies sunk. As Trump was trying to return America to sole Super Power status, he was destroyed by all sides.

Maybe he was a friend to Putin, I don't know. However, citizens aren't going to see the risk if they see greater risk in poor domestic policies.

Recall that I warned the West about what calling Trump supporters and others as "nazis and supremecists" might backfire in the future, since U.S enemies do the same. Now look where we are.

Trump is a moron. He can't even read.
Trump is a Moron who can’t even read but SENILE, COGNITIVE IMPAIRED BRANDON who doesn’t even know what direction to walk in does? Another Moronic Remark. 👎

Barr is apparently one of those Republicans who believes that selling out your constituents is the "right temperament."
