The latest indictment of Comey for what is clearly protected speech is the clearest sign yet Todd is auditioning to be AG. It amazes me how these folks are so willing to ruin their reputations in pursuit of trump's retribution.

That's what is called saying the quiet part out loud. Namely, telegraphing he will be totally in the service of trump when his duty is to serve the American people. He is no longer trump's defense attorney and he should not act like he is.
The other thing that makes Blanche more dangerous than Pam is he is a more skilled liar. I doubt we'll find him being as aggressive in his non-responsive answers to questions from senators as Pam was. I don't expect him to have cue cards with prepared insults on them. But he will be equally as subservient, equally willing to break the law, and more deft at doing both.

On Thursday, the Southern Poverty Law Center will be in court for arraignment, where they will have the opportunity to plead “not guilty.” In the meantime, they’ve filed a motion to “TO ADDRESS THE GOVERNMENT’S MATERIALLY FALSE STATEMENTS AND TO ENFORCE RULES PROHIBITING FURTHER PREJUDICIAL EXTRAJUDICIAL STATEMENTS,” which you can read here. These folks are experienced litigators, and they understand the game DOJ is trying to play.
A motion, when done properly, contains a table of contents that give the reader a good outline of what the party’s argument is. This one is done exceptionally well, and the table gives us the gist of the point SPLC wants to make here:

- DOJ indicted the SPLC and immediately made press statements.

- Prior to filing this motion, the defense asked the government to correct its false statement to avoid the need for court intervention

Judge Janine has been bringing shit cases, that even Congressional Republicans have been calling transparent lawfare.
Who in their right ******* mind would indict people for publicly saying that military shouldn't follow illegal orders?
Now MAYBE with a almost fully Republican Grand Jury, you can get a majority vote for indictment on these politico charges, but fundamentally it just shows how worthless the cases are.

Biden's pardon power is NOT a DOJ process.
THE POINT is that he didn't interfere with the dapartment even in the case of his own son, never mind other politically sensitive DOJ cases.
To date there is exactly ZERO serious evidence that Biden tried to force or squash ANY political investigation, which is VERY different from Trump constantly treating DOJ as a political tool, constantly firing people who don't give him what he wants, constantly pressuring for investigations of his political opponents.
