Don't be taking any victory laps. The Republican party may very well be near to drawing their last breath and ALEC may cease to exist, doesn't matter. Trump might go to jail, the economy might continue to improve, inflation might come down, and Biden could win in a landslide as Democrats take back the House and expand their majority in the Senate next fall. Doesn't matter.

The seeds have already been sown. The poison has already been injected and this nation will cease to exist as the powerful Republic it was for more than two centuries by the end of next summer. I have often said the movie that best represents the Republican voter is "The Incredible Mr. Limpet". Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. By the end of next summer Republicans will have gotten their wish, and turning into a fish would be a better option than what they, and you and I, will face.

No more Social Security checks, millions of elderly Americans will be plunged into poverty and dependent upon family members to even survive. And the disabled, not only are they going to lose their means of support, but those accommodations businesses have implemented to allow them access, they are going to be ripped up and thrown away.

Medicare will dry up. No funding, good luck finding private insurance to replace it, and even if you could, no one would be able to afford it. Good bye to federal funding of Medicaid, as if the states can afford it. So your ninety year old Mom, that lives in the nursing home after losing her house and all her assets, she is moving in with you.

Don't even think about going fishing anymore. The damn lakes are going to be joked up with toxic sewage, industrial plants now able to discharge into the water with no repercussions. And I hope you don't have asthma, air quality is going to deteriorate to an unprecedented degree as power plants will have free rein to spout all the pollutants they want straight into the atmosphere.

Need to borrow some money. Probably best to contact your local loan shark, banks will be free to charge you whatever interest, with whatever terms, they want. And fees, well honestly, cash will truly become king. Just good luck finding a place to cash your paycheck without paying a ten percent fee.

Nope, Republicans are going to get the America they wanted. And they ain't going to like it. It won't be because of Congress. It won't be because of the president. It all now lies in the hands of the SCOTUS. That should scare the shit out of anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

And that is just it. That was the plan all along. All this other bullshit, from tax cuts to the border, was just a diversionary tactic to draw your attention away from the real goal, packing the SCOTUS with bought and bossed Federalist society member judges. In this current session, Social Security and Medicare are going to be ruled unconstitutional. EPA restrictions on pollution are going to be ruled unconstitutional. The very foundations of American society are going to be stripped away and we are going to become little more than a giant size Somalia, start training to be a warlord.

The "revolution" that all the right wing nutcases talk about. It is coming, but it won't be Biden that initiates it. It won't be a Democrat Senate that initiates it. They will pick up their arms and fight against the government because, well because even though they wished they were a fish, once they became a fish, they didn't want to be a fish anymore.
