I can't believe this - actually I simply don't WANT to. $2M for a $125K investment. What a crock of shit.

After Matchmaking Fails, Woman Wins $2M Lawsuit
POSTED: 7:49 am PDT May 31, 2006
LOS ANGELES -- A widow says the men a matchmaker set her up with weren't cultured or rich enough. Now a Los Angeles court has given her more than $2 million.
The 60-year-old social worker from Erie, Pa., claimed in her suit that she paid a Beverly Hills matchmaker $125,000. The widow said she wanted to meet men who wanted monogamous relationships, earned more than $1 million and had estates of up to $20 million.
She said the matchmaker set her up with someone described as an "international banker" who turned out to be "an interpreter that worked in a bank."
The matchmaker countersued, saying her former client is a "serial matchmaker suer." And she said the widow enjoyed herself with the men she met before claiming she was psychologically damaged by the process.
Her lawyer promised an appeal of the verdict.
