This "affordable" issue is phony baloney.

It is NOT phony. The SSA is basing their COLA increases on an absurd assumption of 2.8% inflation (where the hell do they get this) when we all are being battered by 10%++ increases in our housing rents.

Every year we become LESS able to afford to live where we are. Eventually, as landlords continue to clobber us with $100-$200 rent increases, and our COLA "increases" are less than $50 (mine own $31). People are being forced out of their apartments & going to live with relatives, or going homeless.

I voted for Trump 3 times, and I certainly don't want to see LGBT/crime-soft/illegal-alien loving liberal lunatics taking over the government, but if we are going to be thrown into the economic ditch, then Republicans are not going to get any more votes from us. Trump, Vance, senators et al better get this stuff back in shape, or they are going to find themselves out of a job.

I just saw a video of Trump, surrounded by his colleagues, talking about affordability, and mentioned only cars & medical care. They need to talk to renters & business owners who are all getting hurt.

Here's a better indication of what went on during the Biden Adm setting up the inflation rate during the Trump Adm.

As you'll notice the rate skyrocketed under Bye-Dumb and President Auto-Pen.

It also didn't help that Dummycraps shut down the government for 43 days causing a slight rise in inflation in the last quarter.

Think they planned it that way? Of course they did.

When Obama took office there was 11 million people collecting SNAP benefits.
Today there are over 42 million.
