Affordability......The New Dem Talking-Point

I dunno. Before Yellowstone the asking price for my parents house was $200k

Now they're asking over $600K.
I was looking at 20 acres and a 3K sq ft home in Kalispell in 2000 for about $250K. When I returned in 2005, the same was costing over a million. The difference can be seen in Kalispell development. That sleepy little tourist town is now someplace I don't even want to visit. The population has exploded.

Affordability is a never ending issue. Every generation ever has had to deal with it. Things are no different today than they've ever been. People are just having to make different decisions. My generation didn't have $1K telephones that everyone seems to think they can't live without along with their extravagant telephone and data plans. LOL, these days, people spend more on communications---telephone, internet, television, the hardware for all of this, etc. than I earned when I purchased my first home. Another contributor was the idea that gov't intervention into the free market with sub-prime loans so that people making $7/hr were buying half million dollar homes. Of course they couldn't make the payments and they defaulted with the 06 crash as a result. Compound that with the lack of response by the gov't to restart the housing industry and here we are. It ain't rocket science and give away programs won't solve it. Americans need to reexamine what is important to them---nonstop telephone addiction or a place to stay. They can't have it all in their early years.
Therefore in ones early years one should never get married nor ever have kids. Your pist is proof.

You know what your problem is?
You're too damn smart for most of these idiots. And too logical. 👍

I haven't been to Kalispell since I was in high school.
Last time I went ice skating.....froze my feet off.
Foot doctor said I got frostbite.

Not to make light of your frostbite--I lived in the Chicago area when I was in kindergarten. In the mile or so that we walked home, I decided I wanted to trek through knee deep snow. I remember my mom putting my feet in the utility sink and running cold water on them. I swear, to this day, nearly 70 years later, my feet were scalded by that cold water. Frostbite isn't anything to play around with.

Guess which states have the highest cost of living.

The more affordable states are Red States.

Democrats constantly raise taxes and slam consumers with regulations in their cities and states.....and now they're screaming that it's all Trump's fault.

Wherever Democrats are running things.....the cost of living goes up.

Nashville made the mistake of electing a Democrat mayor and he promptly raised property-taxes 30% as soon as he got into office.

Inflation was much worse under Biden. Inflation has been quelled under Trump in comparison, but there is no getting things as cheap as they used to be.

If people want to go back to 9% inflation, in addition to insane higher taxes, have at it!!!!

Did I mention going back to open borders again as they treat immigrants better than American citizens?

As soon as President Auto-Pen took office he pushed inflation from 1.4% to 9%.
He didn't push anything. Had Trump remained President, he would have seen the 9 percent inflation that Biden did. That inflation was from COVID.

If people want to go back to 9 percent inflation, they'll keep lying about the vaccines, and we'll see a pandemic level of COVID infections and deaths. Because inflation was under 3 percent when Biden left. It was 9 percent for a very short time.

So now Trump tells them that affordability was made up by Democrats, and these stupid MAGATS repeat it.

This is why these degenerates are changing from coddling drug cartels to focusing on affordability.
It's all a game to change the subject from an 80-20 issue they're losing on big-time:

The loss of ACA subsidies would impact 22 million out of 330 million Americans.

And why does Obamacare need subsidies? It was supposed to save the people money.

Some grocery prices are up but most are going down. Gas is going down. IRA's are gaining revenue. Count on Democrats to unfairly report a few high prices and then bleat about 'affordability.' This is a classic Marxist tactic of cherry picking data unfavorable to the competition and using the media mouthpieces to redundantly blather about 'affordability.' It's nonsense and speaks to the complete desperation of the Democrat party as they let the Marxists, funded by Soros, et al to run their now zombie-like party using division and hatred as their political weapons.

The average working american will decide how things are. All the charts, numbers, speeches, that each severely flawd party spews amount to nothing. How the poor and middle class feel they are doing will in fact deliver the truth. That must drive the two severely flawed partys crazy.

Let’s make no mistake. When leftists yammer about affordability, they’re literally yammering about “equity”.

We see in New York where communist Mamdani has a solution for affordability. That solution is in income theft and redistribution by greater taxes on white people. His “equity” solution is right out of the Leninist/ Marxist handbook.
