The Democratic Party's Pitch on "Affordability" is Steeped in Irony

No, he is 77 million voter's strong, yeah that's who he is, and if he fails them, then he will have faltered on his duties to serve his nation honorably and truthfully.
No. He is a POS who cares nothing about you or the people who voted for him. You are the useful means to an end for him. He has demonstrated time and time again, he cares only about enriching himself, his family, and his billionaire donors.

Me and my grandson went to a burger restaurant and purchased two burgers, two fries, and two drinks. The bill was over $40.00 dollar's. How ridiculous is this BS that these types of places are holding their prices so high, and doing this when the economy isn't anywhere near as in trouble as it was during or after covid-19.

It's all greed now, and politics.

Once these business's get the prices up for whatever reason, it's like pulling teeth to get them to back it back down.
Fast Food prices are a sign of strife.

California Democrats had their convention over the weekend with the primary theme being that of affordability. This is despite the fact many of their own policies are directly responsible for high costs of living, very much so in California. This irony was not lost on everyone in the media.

Oh that's nothing. Feed a family with three hangry kids in the airport in Iceland. You'll need to transfer money from your 401K LOL.

As for your broader point though, California everything is a giant gentrification project by other names. They want to rid themselves of undesirables.

Did my taxes this year, and Trump came through like a champion leader on the turning around of the economy. I'll take a Trump presidency over the fake Democrats any day of the week.

LOL. Your tax return is an economic indicator? :auiqs.jpg:Gee and here I thought it was all withholdings and deductions.
By all economic indicators, Joe Biden did better as President. Deal with it. :)

This is the "crowding out effect."

When government spends more, it crowds out the productive value producing private sector by increasing cost. Government spending is the most corrupt and wasteful way to increase cost on everyone. The pre 1998 GOP understood that. The post 1998 GOP is almost as bad as the Democrats on this issue, as W with a "Republican" House and Senate outspent LBJ, socialized senior drugs at a retail price, and massively increased government spending, size, and cost across the board.

You are not a conservative unless you are a fiscal conservative, which excludes

W
Huck
McConnell
Johnson
McCarthy
Paul Ryan
John Boehner
Spencer Cox
Fox News
the Pro Israel RINOs

I feel like conservatives dont understand the basics of economic principles. High prices is not inflation nor a result of policy. High prices are demand. Everyone wants to live in California so the demand for stuff is high. No one wants to live in Alabama so the demand for stuff is low. That isnt inflation, or policy driven, its demand driven

Complete BS. Policy, spending money, increases costs by adding a layer of cost to fund Democrats stealing taxdollars.

Newsflash EMH. Prices are not cost driven. They are supply and demand driven. Costs may affect supply but they dont drive prices. Supply and demand do.

He is doing what I voted for him to do.

That some of the things he does seem wrong in the short term doesn't make them wrong in the long term.

And your last statement is comical considering the rapid increase of net worth of your Dem congresscritter butt buddies from seemingly nowhere.

Except when government puts a hand on the balance, like with taxes fees, and all the stuff that raises the cost of production, transport and selling.

Or regulations designed to strangle certain industries in the name of placating the AGW Gaia.

We're not talking about members of Congress, Gandalf. We are talking about the President. And specifically, what he was supposed to do to improve the lives of the rubes he conned into voting for him last year...which is...nothing. :)

Nice attempted diversion. But how much has Trump actually increased his wealth during his time in Office?

Meanwhile Dem congresscritters have gone from middle/upper middle class to having millions in assets.

But they vote the way you want them to vote, so if they pick a bit off the top, meh.

What diversion? I am addressing the topic. You are the one diverting. Republicans are in power. Not Democrats. Congress members have been getting wealthy for decades. And Trump's wealth right now is tariffs (whose interests do you think benefits from these..and why he's so pissed SCOTUS rule against him) and his near constant grift. That's not news. But what is news is that Republicans don't care anymore about the lives of their constituents. Just like the leader of their party. Hey, at least Democrats are talking about it.

And I'm sorry, what has happened in Trump first year of his second term is the most massive transfer of wealth from the lower and middle class to the upper class in more than 100 years. Tax cuts for the wealthy and corps, cutting of social programs, driving up the cost of health care...eliminating it for a lot of people (some red state areas hit hardest by this), his tariffs driving up the cost of goods..etc, etc, etc.

You guys all talk about him and grift, but show zero proof of it.

So it's OK for congress to embezzle but not the President?

"Transfer of wealth" spoken like the true Commie douchebag you are.

That's cool. There's been proof out there for years, I mean, .the whole crypto thing is pretty much a middle finger to his detractors. :auiqs.jpg: You choose to ignore it because he's your savior. I look forward to the Republican party getting their clocks cleaned over the next three election cycles. You'll have no one but your savior to thank. And remember, Democrats didn't do that. Republicans did.

Everything is better with Trump leading the country. The people have more money and its safer. Works for me

Lots of bullshit, no actual proof.

Are you going to the G5000 school of shoving your own TDS up your well used ass?

SURPRISE! I AGREE WITH YOU. HIGHER PRICES ARE DUE TO INCREASED DEMAND.

What happens when you let 12,000,000 illegals into the US and give them free food, free housing, and many other freebies? The prices of food, housing, and everything else goes up. You are correct!
