All of this is an ancient myth which seems concocted to alleviate the male sex from any moral responsibility. To this day, there seems to be no such thing as "personal moral responsibility," if one is a male. This is one of the chief things wrong with many of the world's religions, that all sexual responsibility resides in the female of the species. Moral responsibility has been taken out by Christianity in this case as well as in their reliance on Jesus.

He is their best example of people not stepping up to their responsibilities.

Christianity has institutionalized the abdication of responsibility, a sin in and of itself, by demanding that Christians give it up and sin by accepting to use Jesus as a scapegoat.

Bishop Spong and others say that this issue of substitutional punishment of the innocent instead of the guilty is what will kill Christianity.

I add his view to modernization and the better education of our children.
