And to know what people really think, because after the whole country ended up astounded and amazed the morning after Election Day 2016, I realize it would be just as well if people weren't afraid to say what they really think, even before they go into a voting booth, or get their guns out, or secede, or other interesting activities. I include even the obscenities guys, though I often put them on Ignore if they go after *ME*, because it's as well to recognize when people are seriously angry, as cursers often are. Or when language or conventions are changing.

Free speech is information. Monitored and censored speech a la Facebook is just propaganda, of no use at all.

I suppose I was unclear. I contend that since they can’t silence their opponents here at USMB, they see this place as being outrageously conservative. Any place that even tolerated conservative discourse “must be” conservatively biased.

But their anger also stems from the fact that since there is no suppression of conservative speech, here, it follows that some actual debate does take place. And as a consequence of THAT, they do tend to get their “arguments” smashed to smithereens on a very regular basis. So yeah. They’re mad about losing and they’re mad about being exposed in the process, too.
