Classify American Romanichal

Do they look like "Gypsies" to you in a eastern european/balkan way? To me they look half in such a way or part/mixed. But they do look in some way Gypsy. I ask because people often think that american romanichal do not look gypsie but american?

Why do you feel the need to classify people into racial categories?
