.A loss will still be a great outcome.
The word on her resume.
"Indicted".
They sure felt it was a stain when they applied it to Trump.

The entire left wing authorized political hits on Trump Lefty! He's telling his sycophants what to do, as expected. As predicted. As denied by the cult.
"But Biden!" -- Bullshit. This is an authoritarian regime, and the world sees it.
I really don't see any difference between Trump directing things than Democrats everywhere using lawfare against Trump because they already knew what the directives were and didn't need to be directed. It all winds up being the same ball of wax. If you truly want independent law enforcement at the DOJ and FBI then the presidents shouldn't be appointing people from their own parties to lead the agencies. To say they are independent has always been a farce. And, people in state and local levels shouldn't be charging and prosecuting people on the federal level due to partisan politics like they did against Trump.Oooooooops.
White House admits Trump’s message to Bondi to prosecute enemies was supposed to be a DM: report
Donald Trump’s Truth Social post urging Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute his perceived political enemies without “delay” was intended to be a private message, according to administration officials.
A post from the president’s account September 20 addressed to “Pam” demands “justice be served” against his former FBI director James Comey, who was indicted five days later.
Trump — suggesting in his post that the prosecution of his favored targets is retribution for his impeachments and indictments against him — believed he had sent Bondi the message directly, and was surprised to learn it was public, The Wall Street Journal reported.

I thought it was surprising, even for someone who has no fear of impeachment, or prosecution, or losing support from his base for anything he does, to be so open about an astonishingly corrupt directive given to his astonishingly corrupt AG.
There seems to be little doubt the message will be exhibit 1 when Jim Comey's lawyer asks the judge to dismiss the charges against him due to vindictive prosecution. I see no reason Letitia's attorney won't do the same. trump having handed them the motion on a proverbial silver platter.
The note to Pam to get going prosecuting trump's enemies, the firing of Seibert and his deputy to make way for the eminently compliant Lindsey Halligan, the hapless indictment of Comey minus pertinent details, the declination on the part of line prosecutors to touch either case for a lack of evidence...........it's like watching a satirical play, too absurd to be believable, being acted out in real life.
He's going after partisan assholes that weaponized the justice system trying to **** him out of the Presidency and bankrupt him, who also happen to be criminals..They're having to go on Super Orange Spin Mode™ for this one.
This would be much easier, and far more interesting, if they'd just admit what was actually happening, and what they're actually supporting. "Yes, we need a strongman autocrat now, as close to a dictator as we can get, punish and intimidate anyone who gets in the way, **** the spirit of the Constitution, I'm desperate, maybe we'll go back to the Constitution later".
Then we could discuss that. Maybe that would be interesting.
But no, they have to keep playing these tedious goddamn games.
yes they do and they are so good at it that we have decided to follow suitRepubs engage in political theater all the time.
I like Garland, good man and should be on the bench, but I was at a commencement ceremony while he was still AG and one of the "facts" he cited was how in the 1880's his family fled Germany due to the Nazi's...true storyGarland put them in their place by simply reciting the facts.
I realize it's become part of the POT lexicon but there was no lawfare against trump. He committed crimes, he was indicted, he was prosecuted. That's how the system works.I really don't see any difference between Trump directing things than Democrats everywhere using lawfare against Trump
There was lawfare against Trump and some of his supporters for over eight years and it's still going on.I realize it's become part of the POT lexicon but there was no lawfare against trump. He committed crimes, he was indicted, he was prosecuted. That's how the system works.
Pam Bondi, DOJ officials caught off guard by Tish James indictment
Attorney General Pam Bondi and other senior leadership of the Justice Department were caught off guard Thursday by news that the Trump-installed U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia had presented to a grand jury seeking an indictment of New York Attorney General Letitia James, multiple sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.
While Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and other DOJ officials had expected Lindsey Halligan would move forward in seeking to indict James, against the recommendation of prosecutors in the office who had investigated for months the claims she committed mortgage fraud, they were not informed until after Halligan had already presented the case, sources said.

Lindsey is off the reservation.
What Progs do to people, Trump pales on. What makes you dangerous is that most of what you do is behind the scenes. Subterfuge in darkness. And that is scary. how you ramped up the January 6 day into the worse event in not American but human history is a perfect example. The dead over many millennia may have a word on that. It does not stop you though. Our constitution was usurped. With many politicians changing views like the weather changes for power and allegiance to something else. Some of the changing in views is ridiculous. He's telling his sycophants what to do, as expected. As predicted. As denied by the cult.

Well, it turns out - as I knew it would -"Vindictive Prosecution" doesn't mean what you think it means.Oooooooops.

Then what is the problem?Only 14 of the 22 grand jurors voted to indict....barely enough, they needed 12....
And in trial, they will need 12 out of 12 jurors to convict.
It is a VERY WEAK CASE, and NOT a strong case for prosecutors.
I doubt the trial will last....Then what is the problem?
If Comey is innocent, he has nothing to worry about.
Will his defense be "every word I said to Congress was the exact truth, with no omisions, and no additions?"
Will he take the stand to say so?
Look at the bright side, suddenly Comey has to spend his life savings on legal fees much like general Flynn.I doubt the trial will last....
Vindictive or Selected or Malicious Prosecution will likely end it....if not the fact that the Prosecutor beauty queen, insurance lawyer, was appointed illegally by Trump, which also will kill the trial....when presented to the court by the defense.... Or the inspector General's report who already investigated who determine Comey never ordered the leak....
And no further chance to go after him...it passed the statute of limitations.
He can sue, to get it back...and some.Look at the bright side, suddenly Comey has to spend his life savings on legal fees much like general Flynn.
Wrongo, Mary Lou!I doubt the trial will last....

Tell Mike Flynn. He can sue, to get it back...and some.
Mike Flynn was convicted, and plead guilty.Tell Mike Flynn.
I don't think it's necessarily a defense....but it is reason for a judge to dismiss a case.Wrongo, Mary Lou!
There is no affirmative defense called "Selective or Malicious Prosecution."
If Comey committed crims, Bondi, Halligan, and a jury of his peers will make sure he pays.
If he did not commit crimes, he has nothing to worry about (About which to worry?).
Did the "entire left wing" send out a memo? Who comprises the "entire left wing?" How do you become a member of the "entire left wing?" Can the "entire left wing" be contacted all at once? The entire left wing authorized political hits on Trump Lefty!
No he wasn't.Mike Flynn was convicted, and plead guilty.
