Abbas calls Israel a colonial project unrelated to Judaism

Does it really make a difference, more than a hundred years later (after 20 July 1899)?

(COMMENT)

I find that once "montelatici," and company → get an idea in their head - there is no use trying to expect them to understand that "colonize" in the era was not necessarily a government expedition. In fact, in this case, the expedition cited by "montelatici" was:

• → not a government sponsored or supported Idea (until 1920)...
• → a multinational effort - privately funded...
• → by a single facet --- of a much wider world population --- English Zionist Federation “proposing the re-establishment of Judea"...

It was not until 1920, that the Allied Powers formerly established a policy on the re-establishment of the National Home for the Jewish People.

There is no question that Israel is a settler colonial project. The Nakba was not an event. It is an ongoing process. This is a continuing violation of the Palestinian's rights.

The one who owns an apartment building in NYC, and the one who rents an apartment, and the one who sleeps in the street in front of that building have the exact same right to his country, his nationality, and his citizenship. Any, or all, of these thing taken from anyone must be returned. None of this is ever mentioned in the fake peace talks. That is why these fake peace talks forever fail.

Decolonization is the only solution to this problem.

The United Nations and Decolonization - Declaration
Nikki Haley today at the UN called your claim a debunked conspiracy theory, and rightly so.
Just another shill. Does not matter to me.

Then why are you guys, Abbas, and Hamas having royal hissyfits?

Oh, give me a break; and stop playing at "Silly Buggers."

Britain called Palestine a non self governing territory when it handed its Mandate to the UN. The UN has resolutions calling Palestine a non self governing territory under foreign domination.

The UN disagrees with itself.
(COMMENT)

At the time that the British explained the meaning of the Termination of the Mandate; there was no Israel. The
Non-Self-Governing Territories (NSGTs) n February 1948, would have been the entirety of the territory formerly under the Mandate. However, on the termination, Israel declared independence (self-determination) and the remained of the unassigned territory was a NSGT.

✪ Before Mid-night 14 May, 1948 ⇒ the territory under the Mandate was all a NSGT.
At Mid-night 14/15 May, 1948 ⇒ the Jewish State as outlined in Annex "A" Partition Plan, was independent and self-governing; the Arab State was rejected and remained a NSGT.

In mathematics, there is the rule called the "Order of Operations." If you do not follow this rule you will get a wrong answer (in most cases). You (quite often) make this mistake i the timeline of events.

That is not to say that the UN, being a product of a human collaborative effort, cannot, from time to time, place itself in a dilemma. It most certainly can; just not in this case.

There you go again with the territory under the Mandate.

The Mandates had no territory. The territory is Palestine.

Wow, such clear English.....:)

Lebanon, Syria and Iraq were not territories.
Palestine is a territory.

But still, the Allies (England and France) who had two Mandates each......had no territories to Mandate over.

Got that, everyone?????

You are just TOO funny! ( And pathetic at the same time) Is “ deconization” the reason for a “ Palestinian State” with No Jews Allowed?
What about Palestinians denying Israel’s right to the Wall if they got their dirty hands on E. Jerusalem? I’m sure you see nothing wrong with that!!!
Tell us please what your idea of a “ sincere” peace process would be on Both sides

The territory is “ Palestine” but that doesn’t make it a Country
Oh jeese, another unsubstantiated Israeli talking point.
How about you ask the Ottomans if Palestine was a country prior to the Mandate?
They should know as they controlled it for 700 years. :)

Irrelevant deflection.

※→ P F Tinmore,

IF you did not grasp it in all the previous times I've explained it --- and --- given examples from official documents, THEN it is not reasonable for me to assume that further

(COMMENT)

I will not bother explaining to you how naive your though is. But it goes a long way nto nderstaning some of your incorrect assumptions. The phrase is a "political definition" used through the era of the Mandate.

"Palestine is a territory administered under mandate by His Majesty (in respect of the United Kingdom)" • found in A/AC.21/UK/42 25 February 1948; See Posting #9360.

Shills come and go. What has any of them ever accomplished?

Abbas has come but he hasn’t gone yet
He'll also escape with billions of stolen cash like Arafat did, and another terrorist crook will replace him and do the same or worse.
Which leads back to the never answered question.

Fatah lost the 2006 elections. How did they get back into office in 2007?
