Al Jazeera is funded by the Qatari government so it is literally state-sponsored propaganda. Al Jazeera is also banned in many Muslim countries because it is state-funded propaganda.

Having access to terrorist leaders doesn't make you a reporter, it makes you a tool. You are used to launder propaganda because they will threaten to withdraw your access if you don't. Since you traded your credibility for access, no real news outlet will take you seriously, let alone hire you.
