Oh dear I was specifically responding to your post 13 when you incorrectly wrote this:
My reply was this at post 14: "We are already in an ice age, has been for around 2.6 million years."
Your post 15, where you expanded outside of the current Ice age time frame:
My reply at post 16:
"Incorrect, we ARE in an ICE AGE now, but it consist of two parts, GLACIATION and INTERGLACIAL, currently we are in the waning days of the Interglacial part of the cycle.
It is called the Quaternary glaciation
The Quaternary glaciation, also known as the Pleistocene glaciation, is an alternating series of glacial and interglacial periods during the Quaternary period that began 2.58 Ma (million years ago), and is ongoing."

Gave you several links showing elementary information long known, that Earth has been in an Ice age for about 2.6 million years, with two identified phases in it. Now quoting this elementary Knowledge from Wikipedia:
"A glacial period (alternatively glacial or glaciation) is an interval of time (thousands of years) within an ice age that is marked by colder temperatures and glacier advances. Interglacials, on the other hand, are periods of warmer climate between glacial periods. The Last Glacial Period ended about 15,000 years ago.[1] The Holocene is the current interglacial. A time with no glaciers on Earth is considered a greenhouse climate state."

Post 17, you write this that was never under discussion at all, since you went back to a period BEFORE the Ice age came along that has been ongoing for the last 2.6 million years.
I never argued or disputed this, but that is because YOU went outside of the time frame we initially started in, which was the current Ice age time frame covering the last 2.6 million years.
You have been corrected, ever since then you keep backpedaling into a different time frame unrelated to what we were first discussing. I predict you will continue down the path of an increasing dishonest set of replies, meanwhile you will ignore this passage:
"A glacial period (alternatively glacial or glaciation) is an interval of time (thousands of years) within an ice age that is marked by colder temperatures and glacier advances. Interglacials, on the other hand, are periods of warmer climate between glacial periods."

To summarize:
Ice age (the last 2.6 million years)
Glaciation Phase (40,000-100,000 years)
Interglacial Phase (10-20,000 years)
You have been CORRECTED!
Why in the world do you want to do that? Do you want another ice age?
My reply was this at post 14: "We are already in an ice age, has been for around 2.6 million years."
Your post 15, where you expanded outside of the current Ice age time frame:
Your terminology is incorrect we are in an interglacial cycle. What you refer to as an ice age is more appropriately referred to as an ice house planet which is what we transitioned into about 3 million years ago from a greenhouse planet. An ice house planet has high thermal gradients between the poles and equator (relative to a greenhouse planet) and cycles between glacial and interglacial cycles.

The transition was from a greenhouse world to an ice house world.
