Obama didn't have much of a choice but to run up the deficits early on, governments spend more money than they take in during economic downturns, it helps with the recovery. Bush spent and gave out tax cuts that weren't needed during prosperous times. Big difference.

Anyway, with what Trump is doing I wouldn't be complaining about deficits, that's going to be a continuing sore spot with the current asshole in the white house. Funny you even mention them.

What was the warning to women?

You don't belive that Barbara Bush was speaking to WOMEN in this country. She didn't even want Jeb Bush to enter this race, (that's a well known FACT) and could have cared less if he won the nomination or not.

Her whole life was the Republican party. Now the character & dignity of that party died with her.

This is no longer the party of Lincoln or Reagan. It is now the party of TRUMP--full of anger, hate, bigotry, misogny and ignorance.

The anger is the hate and division pushed in the media. Rs and Ds have hated this country for a long time.
