That link was when he left office so it's kind of irrelevant, right? However, I will say that one thing Bush did very well was increasing help to the AIDS epidemic in Africa. But why play double standards? Clinton also did a lot of good for Africa while in office and after and so did his wife.

A little consistency would be nice, no?

Then of course back to the original point of the OP, Trump isn't exactly helping anyone unless they can help him and that is our new low.

Anyway, with what Trump is doing I wouldn't be complaining about deficits, that's going to be a continuing sore spot with the current asshole in the white house. Funny you even mention them.

Scott Walker is freaking out over these loss's, tweeting out this is a wake up call for Republicans. It is. Paul Ryan announced he's quiting. Doug Jones wins in Alabama, (black women came out in numbers never seen before to make that happen.) The 18th district in Pennsylvania, a predominately Republican, big steel district, that Trump won by 20 points in 2016, just turned blue. Connor Lamb won. A democrat hadn't won this seat in decades. New Jersey, Virginia have new Democrat governors. 15 Seats were up in the Virginia state house Democrats won all of them, women winning 11 of those seats. The DNC has announced it's running candidates for every congressional seat in TEXAS. Ted Cruz is up for reelection facing a 40% Hispanic voting population. Trump's motorcade was booed in Atlanta, Georgia 2 months ago. It seems you've seen how far we've fallen, which I can relate. Barbara Bush is from a gone-by era of politics when decorum in the Oval Office was still treasured and important to the American people. Though I may not have been in line with everything in Sr.'s agenda, I always respected her title as First Lady Barbara Bush. Genuine people will always shine through with the public, and she played her role as an inspiration. I have nothing but positive when I think of her. It's a similar respect I had for Hillary (currently revoked), Laura and Michelle. Unfortunately, those days are long gone in a world of everything media being basically click-bait partisan sensationalism.

Personally I think the OP is omitting one George W. Bush and what he has done to the country and the amount of respect we lost across the world during his regime. With that said Clinton's embarrassing sex life and W's utter incompetence are nothing compared to what we are seeing now. The presidency has sunk to a very new low.
