Russian aggression in Ukraine happened under Obama and Biden. They are Putin's puppets, not Trump. Zelenskky wants Nato and the US to fight his war for him. Nato and the US entering the war in Ukraine directly would be seen as an existential threat by Russia and put the World on the precipice of WW III. Trump will not allow that to happen.
Zelenskky had a deal that would ensure he still had a Nation to govern. Now his only play is to hope the pussies in Europe will somehow bail him out. Europe is too cowardly and cheap to do what is necessary, so Zelenskky and Ukraine are fucked without US help.
That is it. Understand? Zelenskky overplayed his hand and he and Ukraine are likely toast. Buh-Bye.
This is NOT about Zelenski or about Obama or Biden or Trump. This about Russia and its attack on Democracy and an attack on the right to freedom.
I do not care one iota about who was in charge or who did things to make it better or worse. This is all about Putin deciding to INVADE a free country and then "target" and kill innocent people.
What is important here is "do we represent those principles or not"? Our country has represented (and been the standard) for those principles for 248 years. Those are the principles that our forefathers fought for and from which the Constitution was written. We were under the rule of a king (dictator) and our forefathers fought (and gave their lives for) getting us out from under that aristocracy and build the principles of freedom.
The question for you and for everyone else that is fighting against continuing to help Ukraine is "are you ready to betray what our country stands for"?
If you are, then you are a traitor to this country. This is not about money but about principle. Are you willing to allow Russia to destroy that principle?
That is a quick and clear SUMMATION of what this is all about.
I didn't like Biden sending weapons to Ukraine and Trump's Neville Chamberlain appeasement act on the matter isn't high on my list of favorite things either.
What does it matter under whose administration it happened. It was Putin that decided to invade Ukraine. Isn't that what should be the key?
The U.S. has provided not one dime to Russia. There is nothing for Russia to pay back. He did not demand $500 billion from Zelensky but offered Zelensky peace and security in return for $500 billion in mineral rights that Zelensky would not have to spend a dollar but would be mined by Americans. That amount has since been scaled back as Trump sought to deal with Zelensky.
Trump is quite right that Zelensky has no cards to play other than negotiate a win win deal, and Zelensky should be grateful and appreciative for what we provide to them and realize that it's our money and therefore will be provided on our terms.
In the back of my mind though, I wonder how much interference in all this is coming from the American deep state that is trying to derail, sidetrack, destroy Trump? Zelensky came to the White House ready to deal and then abruptly and incomprehensibly destroyed the deal. Was that his idea? Or was he told to do that?
