A question for liberals: How many times should the police have to say “Drop the gun!” before it’s OK for them to shoot an armed suspect?

This video from Phoenix shows police shooting and killing an armed suspect named Ekom Udofia.

Prior to shooting him, the police repeatedly shout “Drop the gun” over and over and over and over and over.

The suspect refuses to drop the gun.

Then the police shoot and kill him.

So, this is my question for liberals: How many times should the police have to say “Drop the gun!” before it’s OK for them to shoot an armed suspect?

Liberals see the world oddly.

Since they fully believe white man to be oppressive and evil, then they feel that a white Police offer NEVER has the
right to object to an irate black man, even if the black man points a gun at them first.

The white Police offers are to remain quiet and respectful and if they get shot, they need to understand they had it coming.

To be fair, taking a bullet from an armed assailant would be easier in both the long and short term than taking the shot on him. If you survive, you get a medal.

Unfortunately, police are sworn to protect the public, even if it means they will be dragged through Hell for doing it.

it's not mostly about what was or wasn't done during these types of situations, it's mainly about what was and wasn't done before that always leads to these types of situations occurring in the first place

What are the 5 Whys of root cause analysis?
Five whys (or 5 whys) is an iterative interrogative technique used to explore the cause-and-effect relationships underlying a particular problem. The primary goal of the technique is to determine the root cause of a defect or problem by repeating the question "Why?". Each answer forms the basis of the next question.

The more accurate question to ask right wing retards is how many unarmed black people do you want the police to kill. Because people aren't always holding guns on police when tthey shoot people. But police will write that in their report or make that claim to cover themselves.

Here are 8 white people who pointed guns at police officers — and didn’t get killed – Raw Story
Since not everyone is a hypocrite whiner who makes every little thing about skin color, the same rules would apply to ALL suspects.

Strawman fallacy, loaded question fallacy.

‘Liberals’ have no problem with law enforcement using deadly force consistent with department policy and prevailing law.

The OP is clearly ignorant as to who ‘liberals’ are and has only a ridiculous, wrongheaded perception.

Which of course is why MPLS isnt enforcing the law anymore

I didn't watch the video and I probably won't.

If the gun is pointed away from any officers there is no need to shoot. Just being BORED is not a reason to take a life.

Ok, approaching officers while apparently armed. An order to halt would have been appropriate.

But what's that 'pointed the gun at officers again'? When was the first time?

And then 'crawl away from the gun' as you can see the dude being smacked by pepper balls, as though he's supposed to crawl after being shot, while under that hail of impacts. Ludicrous.

Those police didn't seem very calm or well trained.

Did you really watch the video?

He POINTED the gun at the police several times, the video even highlighted one specifically.

He refused a lawful police order to drop the gun, the man was warned repeatedly they will be forced to shoot him if he doesn't let go of the gun, then they tried to use pepper shots to get the gun away from him, he fought against it. They know from reports of him walking around in the active road, possible trying jump onto cars, and seemingly on drugs. He was a danger to the area, refusing to drop the gun is always a recipe for personal disaster.
