Loudly proclaiming that Unemployment is falling, the Obama administration has managed to keep the stock market rally going. Americans investors seldom research the truth when Big Brother lies to them. They just accept the lie as truth and pour their savings into the stock market and are oblivious to the fact that they are being set up for another forty or fifty percent loss when the market corrects again which it will do soon.

Here are the unedited Initial Claims for Unemployment Insurance numbers from the states. Because of all the lies from the Department of Labor, this is the only way to know how the economy is doing.

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 460,516 in the week ending Sept. 5, an increase from the previous week.
The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 452,271 in the week ending Aug. 29

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 453,936 in the week ending Aug. 22

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 454,216 in the week ending Aug. 15

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 479,824 in the week ending Aug. 8


As you can see the economy is losing Unemployment Insurance covered jobs at approximately half a million a week. THAT is a disaster, and it appears to be an increasing disaster in the past week. Obama's lies will not make it go away. The economy is collapsing. Without stimulus, it would collapse faster, but it is still collapsing.

Obama had better be very worried about this continuing collapse in employment.

Jake you are supposed to refrain from personal attacks like that. It only results in hurt feelings. I'm 62 and do not get hurt, and usually try to make fun of personal attacks like you do all the time for your entertainment. It is very immature to attack somebody's family name. Please act more mature. I would expect something like that in Grade School, but not from a person who is supposed to be a mature adult. (I.E., Your behavior is Grossly Immature.)

The stats as quoted are from the DOL site. The link is there for you to access (link to) the information. Those are the stats as reported by the individual states to the DOL every week. The DOL then changes the numbers around to make an increase in Unemployment appear to be a decrease and then loudly ballyhoos that information to all the news media.

I repeat, there is no decrease in unemployment in the past month. It is just bouncing around at half a million newly unemployed a week
