Can a human being be good without reference to God? Sure….there could be good pagans….or bad religious folks. But God is necessary for morality to survive. Take as an example, a sadist who gets satisfaction from murdering children. If there is no God who declares that such an act is wrong, then my arguing such is simply my opinion versus that of the murderer. Without God, good and evil are a matter of taste.

So where the hell was God at Auschvitz? You people constantly talk like your Diety is going to take care of all, when in fact, it takes care of nothing.

This is earth, where bad things happen. It won't remain that way for long. But for now that is the way it is until Christ returns to restore the Eden we started out with.
For now Satan has dominion. It is what Satan gained when Adam lost it. So for a time powers and principalities are in control. Christ will resolve that situation upon His return.

As for our Father, first He redeemed their souls through Christ's work on the cross, then He carried them home on His shoulders. When they succumbed, He took them to paradise and replaced their pain with joy.
He doesn't interfere with man's inhumanity to man. But He is faithful to clean up our messes. Ann Frank is alive and well and sitting at the knee of her Father, talking and singing and making noise.

This life is only a vapor of the totality of our existence. We live on forever. Blink and you will have realized the extent of how much of it we spend here in earthly clay. We hold on to this life for dear life. But to God it's just a moment until we are safe in His arms.

6. A key part of the remedy, she believes, is a "revalorization" of traditional male trades—the ones that allow women's studies professors to drive to work (roads), take the elevator to their office (construction), read in the library (electricity), and go to gender-neutral restrooms (plumbing).

To have them early means you are going to make a career sacrifice, but you're going to have more energy and less risks.

10. To save feminism as a political movement from irrelevance, Ms. Paglia says, the women's movement should return to its roots. That means abandoning the "nanny state" mentality that led to politically correct speech codes and college disciplinary committees that have come to replace courts.
The movement can win converts, she says, but it needs to become a big tent, one "open to stay-at-home moms" and "not just the career woman."

Ever hear of the rule of Law? The reason murder is wrong in a pluralistic society is that the majority says it's wrong and requires punishment. This is why Civil Law MUST trump Religious Law whenever the two come in to conflict.
