A bald eagle took down a government drone in Michigan, tearing off a propeller & sending the aircraft to the bottom of Lake Michigan

Bird attacks on drones aren’t uncommon.

I was flying one about two miles down a shoreline when I started getting alerts from one of the proximity sensors. While I didn’t see anything on camera, I do believe it was bird that approached the drone from the rear.

Nice to see bald eagles are still around after Obama gave the "wind industry" the O.K. to kill them.
It isn’t uncommon to see osprey and eagles where I live.
I think it was an osprey that approached the drone I flying. :)
