Unfortunately, it's not a tricky question, and if he put down no, he wouldn't have been lying on the form. Now, it may have been less of a problem if the Caddo County court didn't dismiss charges against Elkins for carrying a gun on school grounds back in 2019. That made him still eligible to obtain a firearm after his probation ended for illegal use of a weapon.
