At least one station in my city earlier this week placed a $30.00 limit on how much gas can be purchased at one time. $2.79 a gallon was the price. The price is now $2.89.

I live in Virginia and the prices here jumped from the upper $2.30's to $2.99 but the only real shortages have been at at some of the mom and pop stations in the more rural areas. The place I go usually had plenty of gas and no line yesterday as everyone freaked out and bought all the gas they can in the days before. They said Diesel was the only thing they were running low on. Said they have been getting 2 trucks a day.
