Texas Tech wants him to play, so why would they cut him? They offered him millions to play.

This order doesn't bar the Big 12 from intervening, just the NCAA. (if the Big 12 does, he could sue them) but will they? He is the Big 12's best "bet" to get the Big 12 into the college championship game.

Colleges get millions from sports betting. Sports betting is advertised at the games. They pretty much brought this on themselves.

Here's how I see it: I think the judge abused his authority.

I also think he made a really shitty decision. You cannot allow gambling by participants in sports. It opens up a giant wormhole of very serious issues and terrible possibilities.

Some players are making millions and changing teams year to year

And that has definitely soured the game for many

Traditionally, the NFL stayed away from Saturday games until the College football season is near the end. I would rather see a lot of Saturday games now for the NFL while eliminating the Thursday Night package and games like Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving Eve.
