At the international business meeting that occurred recently (?World Forum?) I think another article here said that the USA basically gave in to the globalist agenda whereas Trump would have had an America First policy.
As a result, the SEC is now nudging American companies to have more 'social responsibility' with woke policies, 'fighting bigotry' etc.

This country is being divided by Republicans. The reason for this is simple. Republicans are on the wrong side of nearly every issue. That means they have to rely on social issues to drun up their base. The trouble is that it drives away the part of the population that is growing. This war on transgender people is insane. If you are transgender, you can be harassed, denied medical care among other things. Kudos to the REPUBLICAN Governor of North Dakota who vetoed this nonsense.
