They already changed the law allowing them to do that and it’s not up to me to tell them not to do something.

So you think nothing happens should we get to anywhere between 30-50% muslim representation? You think they keep the US Constitution and follow it?
Great. So we’re in agreement that Muslims should be allowed to be elected into office despite our disagreements with their political/religious beliefs.
I’m glad we found some common ground.
I don’t know. I haven’t given that any thought since I don’t see it ever happening.
If the demographics wildly change in any direction like that, I imagine it would change a lot. But I don’t know exactly how it would change everything.
I made no claim in the post you quoted. Maybe you need to follow better.
You’re welcome to back up the claim that she obviously can’t.
FacepalmYeah, stay in your hole and pretend that the US Constitution is sacrosanct without fighting to keep it that way.![]()
I never said they weren't.
Exactly what I thought. Why don't you see that ever happening?
That wasn’t in reference to the Constitution.
Because it’s unrealistic.
They only make up 1% of our population now. I don’t see that going to 50% any time soon. LoL
And that’s totally fine, but don’t claim to be some kind of person who stands up against bigotry..Don’t care.
You're the one that implied that the Constitution alone would just keep your rights in tact, even if muslims came to a majority.
I didn’t say you weren’t. That’s what I was discussing with someone else before you jumped in.
She made the claim that Muslims should not be allowed to be elected into office. I disagreed with her on that point and I’m glad you and I are in agreement on this.
Despite our disagreements with their political/religious beliefs, Muslims absolutely should be allowed to be elected into office if that’s what the people want.
Yay for common ground.![]()
Plus, the Muslims aren’t spreading out all over the country. They are concentrating their numbers in the liberal areas that side with them over Jews. NYC is now almost 10% Muslim. That’s quite a voting bloc.Yet Europe has seen a large increase in a rather short amount of time, so it's not unrealistic. Especially if you get an admin in office that throw open the doors to the US and let's everyone pour in, just like Biden did.
I said that things would change but I’m not sure how. Regardless, it’s not happening anyway.
Yet Europe has seen a large increase in a rather short amount of time, so it's not unrealistic.
I’ll bet you it won’t happen in our lifetimes.
Deal?
And that’s totally fine, but don’t claim to be some kind of person who stands up against bigotry..
