I am confused. CPAC speakers are calling for deporting 100MM people. That translates to 80MM - 90MM native born American citizens. Are they just really really bad at math? Or is there something else they are calling for?

At CPAC, Texas Railroad Commissioner candidate Bo French calls for deportation of 100 million people

French, a former Tarrant County GOP chair, also said Republicans should more openly embrace Islamophobia.

Bo French, a Republican candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner, on Friday said Republicans should more openly embrace Islamophobia and called on the U.S. to deport 100 million people, nearly a third of the country’s population.

French, a former Tarrant County GOP chair who has previously come under fire by his own party for his repeated use of slurs on social media, made the comments at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Grapevine during a panel titled, “Don’t Sharia My Texas.”

The number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. reached 14 million in 2023, according to the Pew Research Center, meaning that French is calling for deporting millions of American citizens.

“Since 1965, we’ve allowed immigration from lots of places in the world whose culture and values do not align with America,” French said.

French’s comments — alongside those of the other panelists on stage — were remarkable for how brazenly they embraced the banner of Islamophobia. His call comes as more in the GOP are speaking out against “Sharia law” and “radical Islam.”

“I’m going to say something that’s going to make some people uncomfortable: The problem is, we call it Sharia [law], but the problem is actually Islam,” French said. “If they can infiltrate Texas and conquer Texas, then what’s going to happen? They’re going to be able to control the United States.”

Jenny Story, chief operating officer at Patriot Mobile, said the Texas-based conservative Christian cellphone company has hosted a series of events with party activists since January to organize against Islam.

“That January 9 event that we put together really was a catalyst for Texans in terms of saying, ‘You know what, maybe I am Islamophobic. I am afraid of what they’re going to be doing to our great country,’” said Story, who spoke on the CPAC panel with French.

As Republican activists push the party to take a harder line against Islam, anti-Islamic rhetoric has taken center stage in GOP campaigns in Texas, with elected officials and candidates casting the spread of Islam as an existential threat to the so-called American way of life and a public safety risk. Republicans have framed their opposition to Islam as an immigration issue, arguing Muslim immigrants do not properly assimilate into the country and claiming they are working to impose their values on other Texans.

Texas Republicans are working to shut down Muslim groups in Texas, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights group and one Gov. Greg Abbott has designated a foreign terrorist organization. CAIR has sued, rejecting any ties to terrorist organizations and saying the label is defamatory and false. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows both placed beating back the spread of sharia law on their lists of priorities ahead of the legislative session next year.

Texas is home to more than 300,000 Muslims — more than all but four states — and long-established Muslim communities in Houston and North Texas. As of 2017, Muslims made up less than 2% of the state population.

Just keep deporting until they're all gone.

Of course 100 million deportations is never going to happen

Instead lets shoot for deporting 20 million

And be happy if we remove 10 million

But we should change the 1965 feel-good immigration law that opened the door yo maybe 50 million unqualifed and good for nothing family member and return to a merit based standard

We need high achievers and their immediate family only

No grandparents on their deathbeds, uncles, aunts, ect

Only the best and no more

And change the anchor baby loophole

You want to deport 80MM Americans too? Asking for a friend.
If you used immigration fraud to obtain your American credentials, yeah.

If you got here legit, but then engaged in unlawful activities, yeah.

You have a problem with that?

Every elected official, candidate for office, or those who occupied office in the past, they go first.

Republicans want to remove naturalized citizens along with immigrants.

The Trump/Republican immigration agenda is motivated by racism, bigotry, and hate.

Yeah. We do. If you lied to get your status, goodbye.

If you got here, then turned to a life of crime...GOODBYE!

Do you really follow CPAC that closely?

Is Texas Railroad Commissioner a big deal?
It can be. Its not just railroads (really). They regulate the oil and gas industry here, and a lot of environmental stuff, strangely enough. Now of course, the side thing is, we have been having multiple politicians making such statements when their office has nothing to do with whatever they are ranting about - like Sharia Law, which is a favorite right now.

The Railroad Commission of Texas (Commission) is the state agency with primary regulatory jurisdiction over the oil and natural gas industry, pipeline transporters, natural gas and hazardous liquid pipeline industry, natural gas utilities, the LP-gas industry, critical natural gas infrastructure, and coal and uranium surface mining operations. The Commission exists under provisions of the Texas Constitution and exercises its statutory responsibilities under state and federal laws for regulation and enforcement of the state’s energy industries. The Commission also has regulatory and enforcement responsibilities under federal law including the Surface Coal Mining Control and Reclamation Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Pipeline Safety Acts, Resource Conservation Recovery Act, and Clean Water Act.

Please explain this "anchor baby loophole" you keep talking about. It doesn't exist. You are confused yet again.

So, in other words, no one has any reason to be concerned what some candidate says about something they will not control while in office. Right?

You know what an anchor bwby is

Born on American soil they are used as an excuse for not deporting the illegal alien mother

Or in the case of chinese tourists the plan is in 21 years they can sponsor the whole family in china for US green cards

That is the part that is not true. We have been deporting illegals with children in case you had not noticed, and evidently you haven't!

Yes, it takes 21 years. No anchor involved either.

100 million? What a pathetic RINO. Anything less than 200 million is DEI and woke.
