Again, ******* stupid. The ice in the Arctic has been steadily declining for many years. While year on year varies, the trend is definitely down. You fellows watch it going down for years at a time, then when the natural variation has it above a few of the prior years, you start screaming "See, it's increasing". Here is a graph that shows how the ice has been declining. And, by the way, Al Gore is a journalist, not a scientist.

Gakkel Ridge is due north of the east side of Greenland. In 2007, by the satellite images, half of that area had ice. In the meantime, the Barents Sea, Northwest Passage, and East Siberian Sea were wide open. And how do you explain those areas? Or the years of 2012 and 2016.

The Arctic Ocean is not expanding due to tectonics. The expansion of the Atlantic Ocean is caused by the movement of tectonic plates, which are pushing the North and South American continents further away from Europe and Africa. This process is not related to the Arctic Ocean.

Plus the many "expert" predictions of NO summer ice by year 2018, noticed you ignored that fact.
