That is exactly what is going on. This is a attempted coup. Many Republican officials and Democrat officials put their personal biases aside to exercise their duties in a non-biased manner. They are attempting to replace these people with biased officials who will attempt to steal the elections. Even independants believe it is more likely that a election will be overturned falsely.
