The whole thing is weird because if you remember like 10 years ago or so, there was a picture of John Kerry meeting with Assad for dinner. What changed so quickly?

One thing it will say is this kind of stuff doesn’t make the USA in the West look good. Gaddafi was once a friend of the west. Look what happened to him. Gaddafi meant Tony Blair then a few years later, the guy is brutally killed in Libya by rebels.

I got a question. …what in the world happened to this Syrian Republican guard. They are supposed to protect the president no matter what. Did they accept bribes to turn away and run away? I mean they are not like the Iraqi Republican guard which put up the stiff resistance to the American invasion Iraq in 2003. They were really the only ones resisting the American invasion. I would’ve expected the Syrian Republican guard to at least try and resist the rebels. But this was one of the quickest falls of a government in recent times. And they faced rebels it’s not like they faced American or western invaders.

Now Colonel Douglas McGregor has also said that this appears to be something related to bribery of Syrian officers by Israel and Turkey . Which would explain how the Syrian government felt so quickly to the so-called rebels.

Now time will tell how things turn out for Syria. I wish the best for the Syrian people. Who are historically some of the great people of history with the empires they’ve had. I mean let’s remember that the Roman Empire was a part of Syria. Some of the greatest Roman legions and even emperors were Arabs from Syria. There is to this day Roman ruins in Syria.

When the rebels had taken Damascus, CNN was interviewing some of the people on the streets and they did interview a Syrian woman who did not cover her hair. So maybe there is some hope for this new government in control of Damascus. But again only time will tell. If they turn out to be Radicals then it’s bad news for the Syrian Christians and honorable Muslims.
