Yep. The last time Republicans outnumbered Democrats in that poll was .... Feb 2020. That's just a bit shy of being 20 years ago. And at that time, it was R+7, instead of the paltry R+1 in the last poll.

Yeah I must be missing something here. The splits have gone back and forth several times since 2004 (often multiple times each year)

Oops... sorry... thought I put "in a presidential election year" in the OP...good catch.

I thought it was interesting due to the results of the 2004 election.
