Canadas three favourite human right abusers, TPS, OPP and RCMP operating like some fascist shytehole, where even some leaders who left the G20 were surprised at the heavy handed reaction from police and the French leader Sarkozy, said happily stated when told Canada burned $1B for security to host the G20: "with regard the French G8/G20, even if I can’t confirm the figures that you are talking about in Canada, I can say that in France they will be 10 times less,” The difference between a free nation and a creepy police state.

To illustrate why Canada isn't to be trusted, the Ontario government passed unconstitutional ans secretive laws to give police powers never seen in a Western nation. Here is the end result, 10 years later. Not one person that I know of lost their jobs, not one in management. Just like the creepy RCMP leaders who sexual assaulted women (and one of them committed suicide).

Remember, THIS is what you should expect if you embrace socialism. Never mind the economic fears. It's your liberty and accountability of government and abusers. You can see why re-allocating funds from police budgets is so popular in Canada. We are 150 years behind everyone else in the West.

A $16.5-million settlement has been reached in a class-action lawsuit over mass arrests at the 2010 G20 summit.

The agreement comes after 10 years of court proceedings and negotiations between the Toronto Police Services Board and representatives for about 1,100 people who were arrested during the summit.

Under the settlement, those arrested will each be entitled to compensation between $5,000 and $24,700, depending on their experiences.

The deal also includes a public acknowledgement by police regarding the mass arrests and the conditions in which protestors where detained, as well as commitment to changing how protests are policed in the future.
