A fantastic tale of a young girl who is victimized and learns to escape her torment through fantasy. A very sad ending which is likely why it never made it. Music is brilliant and story riveting. You may not understand it on first viewing.

I saw Bue Velvet years ago by accident. Interesting movie. Not my type though. The other two look like a good movie I may watch with a date who is interested in the subject. It is not your run of the mill make a lot of money type movie but an artist creation.

1984's Dune. Bombed at the box office... actually a pretty good movie, better than the overblown thing they did last year.

It was awful. The last version was vastly superior.
