Balance, you say?
Well done, thanks.

Didn't read it, did you?

Ryan acknowledged that the plant had already been slated for shutdown in 2008. That was his point. People voted for him because they thought Obama represented hope to get the plant back in operation. In fact, that had been known since at least February 2008, when Obama came to Janesville to speak, and specifically addressed the plant closure in his remarks, delivered at the plant itself — and promised to keep it and other plants like it open “for the next hundred years” (emphasis mine):

--

Those are the steps we can take to ease the cost crisis facing working families. But we still need to make sure that families are working. We need to maintain our competitive edge in a global by ensuring that plants like this one stay open for another hundred years, and shuttered factories re-open as new industries that promise new jobs. And we need to put more Americans to work doing jobs that need to be done right here in America.
This is what I was wondering about, the exact context of the situation, and you seem to be making a good case for Ryan here.
Ryan didn't lie. Obama and the "fact checkers" did.
So Obama was campaigning at the time when made the stop at the plant right, but the networks wanted to spin Ryan's words as lies based upon Obama's date of becoming President, where as the plant was already closed before the time of him actually becoming the President right ? So Obama made promises while on the campaign trail in which he couldnot keep, and so the plant was closed by the time he became President. Did Obama revisit the plant and try and meet with the board after becoming President, in order to speak about what the feds could do for the situation even after the fact, and this now that he was the President, or was it still useless at that point ?

No matter, because it was promises made that couldnot be kept, so the question is did he know this or did he actually think that he could save the plant when he spoke about saving it ? If so then neither Ryan or Obama are lying about the entire situation, where as it was just a situation that can be speculated on forever now by both parties, about what could be or could have been, but never was realized in the situation.

You still want to claim this is "unprecedented"?

To be fair, the word "nearly" preceded the word "unprecedented."

So she's staff. Some of the on-air shows have a token liberal on staff as well. I also said the liberals on those programs, invited guests and staff alike, were talked over and drowned out.
Oh, like conservatives are done on the liberal shows?
I'm going through the list of fox opinion writers to see the ratio breakdown. I'll get back to you.
While you're doing that, go over the staffs of shows on MSNBC, CNN, and other liberal media and check their ratios.

Meanwhile, please answer this question that no one else on the left will:

Which is the official opinion of Fox News: The article condemning the speech, or the article praising it?

Praising it, duh. Isn't that a bit of a no brainer? A little hint: Dog bites man is not news.

Meanwhile, since I've shown you how its done, YOU can go look up the specs on the other networks if you're interested.
