They did that in Ohio but one R senator who was against the bill was sent out
of the room and a more pliable senator brought in so the bill would pass
17-16.

These Republicans are tools and they don't care about ethics. So don't say
"just" do this or that as if this bunch of slugs care anything about fair play.

Odd..

This was perfectly ok with you when your leftist thugs were ramming 0bamacare through....

I guess this is somehow "different".....lol

Healthcare reform was put through the paces. This stunt dreamed up by Kasich is corruption only Repubs are capable of..

Don't think it will be without consequences.

He such a damn hypocrite,, demonRats are always commenting and messing in Republicans business, and I bet a nickel he didn't tell all those union thugs who were shipped in from other states to Wisconsin to get the hell out no sirrrreeeeee bibbity bob :eusa_whistle:

How am I a hypocrite? What "Republican business" do you speak of, and what makes you think I'm a Democrat?

why not?.....some states like California pass things and the other states start doing the same thing.....so why not be involved,or at least interested....

It's one thing to watch and see what happens. But why not get involved? Because it's not your region. I don't understand why non-WI residents on the left have been having wet dreams about the protests, or why the OP is having a wet dream now about the absent Democrats "losing."

As I said, somehow that was "different"...:cuckoo:

Had the fleebaggers stayed in WI, the process would have been put through it's paces as well, so nice try, but no cigar for you....

The Dems in Congress shut out debate on ObamaCare and held their own little meetings behind closed doors. Even CSPAN complained that Obama didn't keep his promises.

In Wisconsin, the Democrats debated Walker's Bill for 62 hours on the floor of their Senate alone.

Wisconsin Democrats Announce Recall Effort Against 8 Republican State Senators | FDL News Desk

The Wisconsin State Democratic Party just sent out an email to supporters announcing that they have officially filed recall papers against all 8 Republican Senators eligible for recall immediately. Depending on their success in gathering enough signatures – and the threshold is not too high, they need between 14,000 and 20,000 signatures in the various districts – the State Senate will be up for grabs in Wisconsin as early as this year.

The filing of recall papers starts a 60-day clock for signature gathering. Then the signatures are examined and challenges made, but if the recall petition meets all requirements, the recall begins just 6 weeks later. Recalls in Wisconsin include primaries and general elections; it’s basically a do-over special election.

The Wisconsin Democratic Party, which asked for donations to fund the recall effort, wrote this in their email, which provides some clues as to their intentions:
They can't win on the vote so they try a recall, typical. They have no reason to recall the republicans, it is the dimwit senators that left and refused to do their jobs, they need to be recalled.

LOL.....I wonder why Obama stuck his nose into Wisconsin politics then and commented as well as got involved in sending his AstroTurf Mobs by way of the DNC, OFA, SEIU, ACORN, and other unions (including 150 US Postal Workers from Chicago)?

Of course Gov. Walker had the best line about Obama sticking his nose into Wisconsin politics when he said "When the President get's HIS budget problem in order, he can stick his nose into ours".

And how does Obama doing it make it appropriate for anyone else to do it? I'm just as much against that, as I am for any instance of a person outside of a constituency campaigning for anything that happens inside. Like when candidates for Congress have people from outside of the state or district campaign in their favor. Why should I care what the former Gov of Alaska thinks is best for my state or my congressional district? Get the fuck out, you have no place in our local politics.

It doesn't make it appropriate!

In fact, the PRESIDENT is the LAST person that should be sticking his nose into State politics, but he does this type of thing all the time!

Never before has a President gotten involved in sending angry mobs to protest at a State Capital.
It is the community organizer (socialist) in him.

When you say thugs you actually mean the dimwits, they have proven over and over again that they are thugs.

Scott Walker will be an American hero! All the bashing, all the screaming of injustice by the left and every other dirty tactics by the hypocrites on the left did nothing to sway the man on the right side of history.

Bravo brave Christian Soldier. Bravo!

An American Hero kills the American Worker?

This guy is no hero. He is a corporate puppet. What shocks me is people are so willing to go against the very institution that gave them the opportunity to earn a living and to get benefits.

You sit there and say "What a Victory for America!!" Wheres the victory? That now even more people steer clear of the teaching industry? The best will now go to other countries because their are no worker rights in America? What exactly are we celebrating.

Anyone who doesn't make a million dollars a year should be against ANY union busting.

"But we have laws against worker abuse."

And what does that have to do with the fact that they can repeal a law or completely defund any agency that can help the american worker. You already see it now

OSHA Budget Cut Plan Spotlights Regulatory Debate : NPR

They hate the American worker. This "Open for Business" BS is just an attempt to screw more americans out of less money while prices increase meaning they have to use credit cards which helps bankers make more and more money while Americans make less.

So are you with Millionaires or with the Middle Class? You decide but Republicans have already made their decisions. They are with Millionaires.

Of Course you're with Millionaires. You're like my mother. Thinks that she must protect rich people because she might be there one day. Completely ignoring the fact that she is in her 50s, works as an LPN, and hasn't made over 50,000 in one year. But hey what the hell, common sense doesn't ever enter into any of their arguments, so why start now?

I love my mother, but seriously the arguments you give to protect millionaires don't pass the BS test. We tried trickle down economics, we tried giving bankers no regulation. They fucked it up and nearly destroyed our economy. Your plan failed, anyone with a brain can see that. Thats why half our citizens are not that smart.

Get real.

What destroyed our economy was Democrats and their stupid housing ideals.

Bush and Greenspan tried to reign in the impending disaster. They warned us about it and Bush attempted 12 times beginning in 2001 to regulate them. Idiot Democrats said there was no problem and killed any attempts to fix it at the committee level.

By the way....just WHO do you think backed Obama with huge campaign contributions?........WALLSTREET!

WI Fleebagger Leader Says Dems Will Return Home & Vote on Senate Bill

Maybe the Wisconsin fleebaggers didn’t want to pay the $100 a day fine for missing work?

The leader of the Wisconsin fleebaggers told reporters today that the AWOL democrats may return home soon because negotiations with Governor Scott Walker have failed.
Huh?… Then why did they ever skip town in the first place?

The Wall Street Journal reported:

The leader of the 14 Wisconsin Senate Democrats who left the state last month to block legislation that would curb public-employee union rights said the senators plan to return “in the relatively near future,” because negotiations with the governor have failed.

The Wisconsin standoff, which drew thousands of demonstrators to occupy the capitol in Madison for days at a time, has come to highlight efforts in other states to address budget problems in part by limiting the powers and benefits accorded public-sector unions.

Sen. Mark Miller said he and his fellow Democrats intend to let the full Senate vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s “budget-repair” bill, which would also limit public unions’ collective bargaining rights. The bill, which had been blocked because the missing Democrats were needed for the Senate to have enough members present to consider the bill, is expected to pass the Republican-controlled chamber.

He said he thinks recent polls showing voter discontent with Mr. Walker over limits on bargaining rights have been “disastrous” for the governor and give Democrats more leverage to seek changes in a broader two-year budget bill Mr. Walker proposed Tuesday.

Andrew Welhouse, a spokesman for Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, said the short-term budget-repair bill can no longer be amended. He said when Democrats return they will be able to speak on the bill, “but we plan to pass it as soon as possible.”

LOL....so the Dems are attempting to say the polls were hurting the Governor and that they can return now because they wll have more leverage...on a bill that can't be amended....way to spin it Fleebaggers!

Yes, put Walker down for a 1 term governor, as the WI citizens grind him to mince meat.:lol:

You're not a master of the obvious, are you?

Teachers can get merit pay without unions. Teachers can have smaller class sizes without unions. Schools will always have bad teachers with unions.

That's my beef.

150 Chicago Letter Carriers Bussed to Madison – Twice – To Protest Governor Walker

Who paid for this?

150 Chicago postal workers were bussed to Madison twice this month to protest Governor Scott Walker.

Who paid for the 14 hotel rooms in Illinois?

Or did they stay at the Obama residence that Barry bought for pennies on the dollar:
