For years Wisconsin ReNaziKlan's control both houses of the legislature because how they had drawn the legislative district maps.

Wisconsin Pooty Loving ReNaziKlans were so desparate to keep their maps in place that they announced they would impeach Circuit Judge Janet. after she had won a seat on the Winsconsin State Supreme Court BEFORE she had even taken the oath of office. They dropped that move because it so clearly a partisan act.

The Governor won, plain and simple and that vicotry means for equal representation for Dems in Wisconsin.

Evers signed a bill put forward by GOP lawmakers last week implementing new legislative maps the Democratic governor drew himself that dramatically weaken the advantages Republicans have enjoyed each election cycle since 2011.

"It is a new day in Wisconsin, and today is a beautiful day for democracy," Evers said at a press conference in the state Capitol. "Of the 1,869 days I’ve been proud to serve as your governor, few have been as consequential as this one."

State & Federal Legislatures make the laws. Courts can find legislatures in violation of laws made by previous legislatures. Then courts can override the legislatures.

I'm sure that the Wisconsin courts could only intervene if the current electoral maps were in violation of some previously existing laws.

For years the Wisconsin State Supreme Court was comprised all Repubican Justices. Democrat Janet Protasiewicz campaigned on voting against the Republican Gerrymander and won, replacing former Justice Dan Kelly.

In beating Kelly., Justice Kelly gave Democrats the majority in the Wisconsin State Supreme Court for first fifteen years. Wisconsin Republicans freaked out over it and threatened impeach Justice Protasiewicz before she even take the oath. They eventually backed down and with her vote the ReNaziKlan Map was ruled Unconstitutional.

The map drawn by the Governor will end Republican control the both houses of the Wisconsin legislature.

ReNaziKlans had a shit fit over it, but the new map remains in place.
