Who Do You Think’s Gonna Win In November...?

Who do you think is going to win in November...?

  • I’m for Obama, but I think Romney’s going to win

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • I’m for Romney, but I think Obama’s going to win

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    41
Too early to predict.

I know a lot can happen between now and November, but I still think Obama will be reelected... for several reasons...

1) As incumbent, Obama has the power to push for expansion and/or favorable restructuring of entitlement programs, as he recently did with student loans (an example of a feel-good issue that is hard to argue against)... and, in so doing, Obama "buys" the votes of the people who benefit from his actions...

2) The economy appears to be settling down to the point that it's not going to be an issue that will drive Americans to the polls to vote Obama out...

3) The opposition has been unable to get traction on issues that should be getting traction... an example would be the Justice Department's "Fast and Furious" gun-running program...

4) It remains to be seen whether or not Romney can energize and mobilize the GOP/conservative base... but even if he can gather that crowd together behind him, I don't see Romney making substantial inroads among the non-aligned, independent electorate...

5) There's a fair number of "independents" who've bought into the notion that corporations are responsible for all the bad things that have happened, and that Romney represents the interests of the corporations... they will turn out in droves to vote for Obama simply to vote against Romney...

6) Obama's handlers will make sure that Obama does nothing between now and November that might upset the electorate... they are carefully crafting his public appearances (Afghanistan) and initiatives (student loans)... and, even as we speak, are probably planning some sort of "October surprise" to boost Obama and undermine Romney...

All these things, put together, are enough to practically guarantee an Obama victory...

and if Ron Raul decides to run as an independent or Libertarian Party candidate, Romney might as well pack up the dog and go home...

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of
entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to
limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the
necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate
willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much
deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of
what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to
the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic
can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less
likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their
president."

I think Obama will kill in the debates, and when Romney has to defend MORE tax cuts on the rich, destroying Medicare, and growing the military to bigger than the rest of the world combined...ideological idiocy. It'll be time for some facts, not blather.

Obama will win for the following reasons.

1) The electoral college favors him.

2) He's more likable than Romney. (then again, so is the Ebola virus).

3) His followers are more enthusiastic.

The only thing that makes Romney viable is that a bunch of wealthy sugar daddies are paying a lot of money to keep him afloat. That got him past Santorum and Gingrich, but the Media is going to expose the light to that.

The Republicans do not even like Romney.

This person probably voted for Bush, twice.

Well, if you believe the Glenn Beck providence for that quote, it came from a Czech newspaper - so it's unlikely they voted in the US at all.

The current numbers indicate a very tough road and a very narrow window of opportunity for Romney. I'd have to say right now that Obama has a 65 to 70% chance of winning.

Obviously things could change.

This excerpt is unbelievably wise. Yes, we can recover from the obamafolly. Recovering from those who follow him might be near impossible.

I have no idea who will win, but I know for sure the American people will lose.

You get the candidates corporations pay for. You don't get to decide anything. Regular Americans have no real voice in the process anymore. We do NOT deserve this.

How does the electoral college favor Obama?
