Which person as a third party candidate could beat Biden and Trump in 3 way race?

It is the best question we have. Both of these two have over 50% negatives, both are closer in reality to 60% than 50%, and both are seriously old. Trump is clearly "younger" in mind and body than Joe, but he is old OLD OLD... REALLY OLD.

If Jesse Ventura was young and healthy he would be a great candidate, but he is neither now.

Newt and Dick Armey and the rest of the Gingrich Revolution are also really old.

Laugh if you may, but someone like Kevin Sorbo could decide to go for it, and if he "has it" in debate format, watch out. We need a hero, and Kevin excelled at playing one.

It is there. Make no mistake, if it is Trump vs. Biden, the third party path to the WH would be more open than ever....

The problem is that there does not appear to be that someone, yet, who can "fill the void."

No one, sadly.... The whole system is rigged to a degree, where a third party candidate, can not ever win.....

- Getting on the ballot in all States, with their requirements in place, makes being on the ballot in all states, near impossible if not impossible to get enough electors to win.

- States rigged their electors, as a win or take all, which also diminishes a third party candidate's chance.

Voting third party is partially a middle finger to the candidates of the two major parties for their lies and failures.

They lose and they want to blame the third party candidate as opposed to blaming themselves for their lies and failures.

I wouldn't call it "rigged", it's allowed by the system.

I would prefer a house district by house district electoral split, with only the two senate EC's assigned to the statewide winner.

Of course that would make redistricting every 10 years even more of a fight.

Top down 3rd parties are doomed to be nothing but spoilers in presidential elections.

For house districts: Multi-seat preference voting... Max of 5 seat district... Will create more variety, every vote is contestable... Gerrymandering back fires a lot so rarely tried...

Senate: State votes for both senator in the one election as a 2 seater preference voting... This again could allow for upsets and allow more voice to the people.

President: Simple popular vote with preference voting...

Results would be more parties and independents, primaries would have far less importance, stronger whip in congress.

Like the man said, with friends like swamp rat repubs in washington who needs enemies?

Trump was as close to 3rd party as you can get
Trump wasn't really third party...

The one who was most third party was Clinton... He actually took a lot of GOP ideas and used them...
It what caused the GOP to swing right, they didn't know what to do..

Nope! Trump won, as the REPUBLICAN PARTY CANDIDATE....

He did NOT win as a third party candidate.
Trump tried to run as a third-party candidate decades ago and asked Oprah to run with him.

Back then Trump made fun of conservatives like Buchannon who wanted to seal the border by calling Buchannon a racist for wanting to do it.

But Oprah turned him down and Trump gauged the situation and realized he had no chance to win, so he backed down and ran a decade later as Buchannon.

Democrats hate the fact Trump tried to run with Oprah because it destroys their narrative that he is a racist, and Conservatives hate it because it destroys the narrative Trump is a conservative.

Oprah is Leftism on acid

C'mon man
The Zionist Jews have made this a binary system.
Where have you been?

President Trump understood that we have a binary system.

There certainly is a plurality of American voters who would flip off both Biden and Trump should a credible candidate run 3rd. The math is there. Trump is winning the GOP because everyone sees these prosecutions as bogus politicized corruption and Banana Republic stuff. CNN just fumed that Trump rises in the polls after every pathetically rigged indictment. Sorry, CNN, America doesn't bow to your wishes...

Everyone? Are you sure? I see it as Karma.

Shows crime sometimes does pay.

That's completely wrong. America loved the Gingrich Revolution, and voted to continue it with W and a Republican House and Senate. The problem was that the GOP had been watching Faux "News" for years at that point and was electing Left Wing Zionist Fascist frauds like W and McConnell instead of authentic conservatives like Gingrich. There was absolutely NOTHING CONSERVATIVE about the W Administration, perhaps the only one single thing that was conservative was the pick of Alito. Everything else was flat out big government, big spending and Zionist Fascist TREASON.
