Where do you republicans draw the line on privatizing government services?

Let me just ask you this. You can concede that the government must regulate any hypothetical privatization of a government service, right? What specific regulations should be in place? What protections should these regulations have?

Also, if there were no environmental regulations at all, just how much pollution do you think corporations would end up being guilty of?

I see the far left are just pushing yet another debunked religious agenda.

Then again NASA uses government money to reward private industry for what NASA needs.

So why does the far left want government to control everything and every aspect of people's lives?

Why don't YOU think about what you post before asking others to do the same.

    1. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39516346/...pray-firefighters-let-home-burn/#.Wbz3jMmunRE

It's happened. What ???? I realize you can't fathom the idea of people managing their own lives. YOU might THINK about that.

    2. I can't even understand your argument here. There are toll roads that you don't drive on if you don't pay the toll. $200 ??? Hyperbole much ? Now, the question you get to ask is how much do you lower gas taxes (which is where a lot of highway funding comes from) and when do you stop paving miles on end so that a few people can avoid cracking their windshields ?

    3. Another stupid argument. That isn't about privatising...it's about regulations. Please try to not post when you are drunk. The people who live in a city get to determine what kind of water they want. How do federal regulations help..??? They don't. How is it that if people don't want the feds in their lives, you think they don't care about the issue at all ? Plenty of cities do more than the feds ask for (CA has a much stricter EPA than the fed....becasue that is what they want). And, here's a clue jerkwad: Many cities do privatize the management of their water systems. Please point out where whole cities have died because of it.

    4. Which government. The federal government (you know...All Kids Left Behind) is wortheless when it comes to education. Are you saying that a city of 50,000 does not care about educating it's children and does not raise taxes for them. What the people of that city don't want is for the fed to come in and say "You'll use this textbook in all your state schools or we'll pull your highway funding dollars.....like they've said for 50 years). So getting rid of the department of education isn't really getting rid of educational standards...it's increasing them. Even at the state level, they screw you over. The state I lived in stopped allowing it's local school board from raising "to much money" for it's schools. If you raised over a certain amount...you had to throw it into a kitty so all schools could access it. That was a real left wing POS effort.

So go get yourself sober and educated and then get back to us, Junior.

You really are an embarrassment to whatever school system let you out with a diploma (assuming you have one).

How big is Belgium ? I can pretty much guarantee you that you can find regional health care that sucks and regional health care that is great (cost and service) in the U.S. We are a nation of 320,000,000 people.

I love how people think we are homogeneous. Did they teach you that in Belgium ?

    You dod
You didn't make any "points" in your OP.

You threw up on your keyboard and then hit send.

As usual, your "arguments" are shallow, loaded with fallacies, and stupid.

    That statement makes no sense.

There is pure monopoly (or can we operate a private FBI ?).

    Here we go again....

    For the 100th time.......

Big business loves government. Big government protects big business....through.....wait for it.....REGULATIONS.

I used to work at a multi-national that wrote the regulations for our products and gave them to administrators to use in defining regulations. Guess what ? We wrote them to elevate the barriers to entry so we could get more MONEY.

The government ran up health care costs with Medicare. Obamacare really screwed them up with their "10 requirements".

You call his logic dumb ?? And then follow it with something that only could have come out of your ass.

Government regulations are reflections of desired results (ends). Privatization is means (administration and execution). This done all the time. The government does not generally build roads...it hires private sector firms to build them. It does not build jet fighters....it hires private sector types to do that.

Oversight in specific areas is specifically needed when we say it is needed. The government is no more than us (unless you are Obama and then you think it is god).

I'd trust my water to a local set of regulations any day. The FED has to homogenize 50 states. Maybe I don't want the same regulations that some other city wants. I'd rather spend my money on schools.

YOU do realize there is more than one level of government (stop watching Rachael Maddow and get a life), don't you ?

Unfortunately, Mr. Head Up His Ass, does not know there is something besides the fed. Anyone who wants to kill the EPA (federal EPA) wants dirty water and fouled air. I mean to listen to him, we'd just as soon our food all have e-coli because we are on the right.
