Interestingly there are also unpopular Republican governors in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida...

...that may be trouble for the GOP in the general election.

I can only speak for some of us in Michigan. Our Gov may be unpopular, but only with the people that spend their lives on Welfare because they don't want to do anything else! Snyder put the law in place that a person or family can only get up to 4 years of help. He put a limit on it, and many of us are glad he finally did! I wish it would have been for only 2 years! I'm sure there's provisions in there for families with children, but if you're going to get state aid, your also now going to have take classes, and/or training. People aren't going to be able to sit on their asses and just live off the rest of us anymore...thank God!

Nice try. Clinton put the government on a path to a balanced budget with the 1993 tax increase/budget bill,

and Newt got to go along for the ride.

Oh, and btw, this what the genius Gingrich said about the 93 Clinton plan:
