If not claimed by family, or an interested party, they should be disposed of in the least expensive manner, usually cremation. No religious or cultural observance should apply, this being a function of the State or Federal.

It's 100% myth. There is nothing in Islam that says you can't get into heaven if your body is "contaminated" by pigs blood. The whole "Muslims are afraid of pigs" meme is nonsense.

According to the Sharia lawyer, Islam mandates that Muslims not be cremated and must be buried pointed towards Mecca.

If they are this superstitious, trust me, being soaked in pigs blood and then cremated will mess with their sick little heads.
